The Audubon’s Mural portrays climate-threatened birds of Vashon.Our intent is to open eyes and hearts to the plight of native birds and connections to the climate crisis – plus inspire us to act.

Located in the in Heron Meadow, the mural is dedicated with hope for a healthy, bird-filled future for the children of Vashon and beyond.

And in the best of island partnerships, the mural is a collaboration between Vashon Center for the Arts, Vashon Nature Center, Vashon Audubon, and artist Britt Freda.
