Your parents should email Phil Dutton at [email protected] to give permission for you to take part in a Go Compose Online workshop.

They must also confirm that you will be allowed to use Zoom to communicate with us.

These amazing composition workshops will be offered to young people FREE OF CHARGE during the lockdown. We expect to receive a large number of applications and will offer workshops to as many of you as possible.

If you are willing to let us know confidentially why you feel that you deserve or need to take part in Go Compose Online, this will be much appreciated. Have you or your family been affected or isolated by the coronavirus lockdown? Is there a special reason why you would like to compose music? Are you a young person with limited opportunities for your music education? Why do you think these workshops will be helpful or important to you? Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself and why you would like to take part? Have you composed music before? Have you ever taken part in a workshop or had a composition lesson?

If we are able to offer you a place on a Go Compose Online workshop you will receive full details and will be able to prepare what you need in your own home, and test your Zoom connection with us beforehand.

The Commonwealth Resounds is regularly updating its Child Protection, Health and Safety and Data Protection policies. We shall be using and storing the data collected from young people and adults simply for the purpose and duration of the Go Compose Online project. Data will be stored securely and confidentially during this time and under no circumstances will be shared with any third parties, reproduced nor posted online without specific permission. Young people and adults have the right to withdraw from the project and/or have their data deleted at any time.
