Classroom organisation

- One book per pupil, to be left in the classroom only & touched only by bubble members. Books to be used as normal but staff and children to sanitise hands before and after use.
- No soft toys- Limit resources to those that can be wiped/rinsed daily- Tables can remain in group arrangements- Guided Reading Books – class teachers to take pack of books for
term (most packs consist of 5 different titles) for each reading group. Books to stay in classroom & be returned / swapped at half termly intervals to prevent cross-contamination. Books not to beshared between groups. Books to be sent home after they have been quarantined. Reading books to be used as normal but with sanitization of hands between writing in each book. Reading one to one to be carried out at the individual staff member’s discretion.

Social Distancing Measures in school
1, 2, 3 - Minimising contact and mixing through the use of class / year group bubbles
- Bubbles will be kept apart- Staggered Lunch times, bubbles to have allocated times in hall &
playground as well as designated staff/lunchtime supervisors.Tables etc will be cleaned between (year group) bubbles. SLT to provide timetable. Each year group bubble to collect lunch from hall and eat in the class room except for Reception who will eat in the hall once the KS1 children have collected their lunches.
- Staggered entry / exit times & collection points. . Year 1 to enter from EY playground and Y2 from top playground. Robins to enter at front of school in little playground and exit from same place. Parents told relevant times and areas for drop off and pick up.
- Parents will not be allowed into classrooms / use facilities in school & will have to leave the site promptly. Can use staff toilet nearest to office for emergencies and follow cleaning requirements before and after use.
- Parents to ring the school office to make an appointment if need to speak to someone on site. Parents to have meetings remotely or by telephone
- Parents not permitted to come into the school office. Permitted to come in one at a time. Parents not to come in to office except in exceptional circumstances and should be wearing a mask.

- Outdoor sports should be prioritised where possible, and large indoor spaces (hall) to be used where it is not, maximising distancing between pupils and paying scrupulous attention tocleaning and hygiene.

School lettings 1, 2, 3 - An after school YOGA club for adults (external provider letting) will be starting from autumn term. . Suspended until further notice.
- Provider will be given a key / alarm code etc.- SLT to ensure that there is a separate risk assessment in place
which is signed before lettings commence (i.e. insurance, hall agreement etc)

All users of the building are asked to follow the following guidance:Do
wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds always wash your hands when you get home or into work use hand
sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands)
when you cough or sneeze put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

ü School based message to parents explaining the above and the expectations from parents to support thisü Each class teacher - prepare a list of suggested sites and work to support learning at home for reading, writing, mathematics
and topic work, if not immediately then from the second day when teachers have had time to prepare the work/create lists of possible sites to support home learning
ü Provide children with an exercise book to work in and any answer sheets/ mark schemes if possible. Children (or parents/carers) can mark their own work. As there will be no opportunity to ‘teach’ each session parents/carers will need to guide children and support them on which parts of each activity they can access. Please try to avoid providing work that needs to be printed at home – it can be looked at on a screen and recorded in books
ü Depending on the duration of any school closure, teachers to send weekly emails via the office for parentmail for each year group with additional suggestions/work for home learning
ü If allowed, a member of school staff will be in school each day from 9-12 to respond to any communications Emails should be checked at least once each day by all staff
ü Support staff should prepare resources undertake admin tasks requested by their class teacher/Line manager – display lettering, resource labels…
