Parents,
As you know this distance learning has been a learning
experience for us all. I’m going to try something different this
week. We are supposed to have a 4 day week (with Good Friday) so
I’m sending you plans for 4 days. This time you will have 3
separate days of plans (by topic) with one day of review. Order
doesn’t matter – you can let them choose if you’d like. Let me know
if you have any trouble…questions…concerns…etc.
And…don’t forget to send me your videos of them “reading” the
lines to “The Pigeon Wants a Puppy” – I can’t wait to see how that
turns out!
Also…I have set up assignments in ixl.com for them. I assigned
enough for them to do 2 Reading and 2 Math per day (actually I
think I put 10 assignments in thinking of a 5 day week so don’t let
that confuse you). Again, do what you can. Log-in info is

those are optional)

parts out

the nearest inch
· Sailing Boats Subtraction Coloring page
· If you don’t have access to a printer – just do some addition
or subtraction review, find the # that makes 10 review, OR find
some cars, trucks, etc. around the house to measure

your mom or dad send me a picture of your drawing to see if I can
guess what it is! You can color it if you’d like.
After watching the video and drawing your animal, fill out the
attached worksheet below. If you don’t know or remember the answers
from the video, google or siri would be happy to help. ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go to www.raz-kids.com – Read or listen to the book “Animals,
Animals” (again, there is a quiz and a worksheet if you’re
interested)

Students can use fingers, counters, number line, draw a picture,
etc. to help them solve.

first load lifts 5 bales of hay into the barn. The second load
lifts 4 bales of hay into the barn. How many bales of hay did he
get into the barn?

the yard. How many wheels are there?
