Dear Members, Spring is in the air and St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! But before we get to all of the events…we have to announce that INSTAGRAM has found the Phoenix Club! Woohoo! Please follow us: @auroraphoenixclub We are so excited to have another platform to be able to promote upcoming events as well as have all of you tag your photos while you’re at the club! If you haven’t been receiving emails promoting our events or receiving other reminders, please look inside and fill out the Update Membership Information form. We don’t want you to miss out on any more fun events. You can turn that into the bartenders or to one of the board members. We would like to WELCOME all of our new members in 2020 thus far-we hope that you will find the club feeling like a home away from home. Speaking of new members…we are bringing back our new membership incentive. If you bring in a new member and are the first sponsor signa- ture, you will receive $10 in Phoenix Club bucks. Let’s keep the momentum going! And while we are on the subject of new mem- bers, here are just a few notes to keep in mind and reminders for our current members… If you bring a friend in 3 times, they will need to become a member (first visit is a guest, second visit they’re a friend and third visit, they should become a member). When leaving the club, please be sure to clean off your table and wipe it down before the next member takes a seat. Please remember to have respect to other mem- bers and when sitting at the bar, have respect to- wards the bartender and no profanity needs to be used at the bar. We thank you for your cooperation! Thank you to Kris and Don Scheiling and Sara and Jimmy Gates and Carrie Smith for feeding us. FRINDLY REMINDER-If you are planning to bring a good size group up to the club on any certain day please inform the club manager ahead of time. This is to insure we have the staff on hand to cover the bar as well as any food that may be needed de- creasing any wait time. Parents or grandparents are responsible for the children they bring into the club and must accom- pany them in the game room. Also since we try hard to be a family friendly club please watch the language. If you are sitting at the bar and you get or make a cell phone call please go to an area where others don’t have to hear your conversation. One of the privileges of membership is that you are eligible to rent the lower level for a gathering or party. This is available to members only. A copy of the renting contract is kept in the glass case directly opposite of the daily sign in sheet. The daily sign in sheet is also for members only. All through the weeks of Lent we will have a sur- vey out to ask your thought on improving our Friday Night Fish Fries. We would like your input and suggestions on how to make it better. As always, thank you for your loyalty and patronage. Tim White Phoenix Club President PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE TO PHOENIX CLUB MEMBERS
