Term 3 Week 5 Respect Responsibility Co-Operaon We speak out ! Leonie Pearson In accordance with advice from NSW Health, par- ents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms. Schools will make ar- rangements for students who present as unwell or have flu like symptoms to be sent home. NSW Health have requested that schools encour- age anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested through their local medical practitioner or one of the COVID-19 clinics. Students and staff with flu like symptoms will need to provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test re- sult before being permitted to return to school. If you are unsure as to whether you should send your child to school or not, please contact the school on 48213838. Don’t forget that we have our school photos coming up. Fortunately we are still allowed to have them taken. All students should wear their full winter uni- form and black shoes, neatly polished! Our PBL spotlight this fortnight is "We Speak Out" and as part of what we are doing at school, it would be great if you could talk to your child about the following: Being an up stander rather than a bystander. Doing the right thing even if it means going against your peers and what they are doing. 2. Reporting a problem that you have to a teacher as soon as it happens rather then waiting for it to become a big problem. 3. Encouraging them to use the word "enough" with both hands up as an appropriate way to let peo- ple know to stop what they are doing.
