Who am I?

I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden. I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command. Half the things you do might just as well turn over to me and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.

Those how are great, I have made great. Those who are failures, I have made failures.

Take me, train me, be firm with me, and I will place the world at your feet. Be easy with me, and I will destroy you.

“We don’t like their sound. Groups of guitars are on their way out.” – Decca Record rejecting The Beatles in 1962

“For [most] people, tobacco has a beneficial effect.” – Dr. Ian MacDonald, 1969

“Nothing of importance happened today.”- King George III, July 4th 1776.

To be an effective teenager or adult, you NEED to develop these 7 habits as opposed to these:

Be proactive

Begin with the end in mind

Put first things first

Think Win-Win

Seek first to understand, then to be understood

Synergize

Sharpen the Saw

React/ Blame everyone else Begin with no end in mind-

never set a goal Put first things last- put off

important stuff until after you’ve had fun

Think win-lose- be constantly competitive

Seek first to talk, then pretend to listen- talk all the time. You’re the only own who knows anything, right?

Don’t Cooperate Wear yourself out- never take

any time for yourself to do something you enjoy on your own
