Organisational Basics

objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community

Key Terms

• Community– Any group of three or more that have an interaction in any environment.

Common conditions such as intent, belief, resources, preferences, needs, risks, experience, work, play may be evident singularly or in any combination.

• Sustainability– The capacity to endure.

• Collaboration– The process where two or more people or organisations work together in

an intersection of common goals• Innovation

– Change in the thought process for doing something, or the useful application of new inventions, methods, experience or discoveries

• Environment– The surroundings of a person, organism, object, idea or system

Aims

• We-Community will:– Understand the appropriate techniques and methodologies – Enable a group to decide whether it is a community– Help the community to evaluate its sustainability issues and needs– Produce the tools and inform the stakeholders of the resulting

The strategic arm of We-Community holds the responsibility for compliance to the aims, legislation and ethics.
