The nugget was designed to make small wave riding fun. The extra volume throughout allows the rider to catch more waves while reducing board length. There is a wide range of length options so the Nugget is suitable for many different surf styles. It’s an ideal shape for a beginner surfer looking to transition from long to shortboards, or a more experienced surfer wanting to ride something in the lower 5’ range. The Nugget will hold it’s place in the lineup & your quiver.

It isn’t easy to shape a good double winged swallow tail, it takes years of experience. WRV’s ROCKFISH can be traced back to the mid nineties when the fish resurfaced from near extinction. It remains in our quiver because it is time tested, fast and maneuverable.

The DRONE has come to the party. It has simple square curves that bring on the action. The design has already taken on variations, but it’s definitely a new way to look at high perfor-mance small wave surfing. Developing quickly coast to coast.

The WRV BLUNT is another summer curve in our never ending quest to rule out the doldrums. The BLUNT has a little more of a high performance outline than its relative the DRONE. It includes a single to double concave.

The STINGRAY can blaze gracefully in small to medium-large surf. The board is for bigger guys that want a shorter board with paddle power. The STINGRAY is a member of the fish class that is extremely fast due to massive planing surface and minimal rocker. Lengths start at 5’ and go up into the 7’ range combining high-volume, foils, rails, and a flat rocker with a template that can turn any session into a party.

The FUNBOARD is a descendent of the early egg shapes. It has short board performance in mid-size lengths. WRV has ruled the FUNBOARD since the eighties. Shapes can differ from full rails and round noses to pulled in templates depending on the desired performance. The FUNBOARD is happy in 2 foot surf and will pour it’s heart out in 8 foot Hawaiian.

Too cool to ride a funboard? Don’t have room for a longboard? Want to try something differ-ent? See how short you can go but still hang ten? Catch waves and flow with style, bring it to the beach when you don’t know what to ride, get it as your first surfboard or see how techni-cal you can get. The MINI-LONG is perfect for everyone. Sizing from 7’ up to the mid 8’ range. Comes with 2+1 fin configuration, ride a longer trail fin for nose rides or a shorter cutaway for quick maneuverability. You cant go wrong with the MINI-LONG.

FIN OPTIONS: SINGLE FIN / 2 PLUS 1. THRUSTER / QUAD / 5 - FIN CONVERSIONTAIL OPTIONS: ALL TAIL TYPESWAVE RANGE: SMALL - REAL BIG

Longboards of the modern era are lighter and more dynamically advanced from the early days of surfing. WRV helped reintroduce the longboard in the eighties. It is our goal to create mas-terpieces of quality with contemporary templates, foils and rockers. The 2 + 1 fin configuration is most common on boards from 9’0” to 10’0” and up. The small stabilizer fins allow for more width in the tail which is a must in small waves and also help to hold in larger surf. Perfor-mance longboards from WRV are shaped with speed and maneuverability in mind. Whether beginner or veteran the thrill is real.

Marty Keesecker was in the original WRV factory working on longboards back in 1967. He is still hand shaping these beauties for your cruising pleasure. He has been joined by other wor-thy craftsmen. The CLASSIC is available in many finishes, multiple stringers, nose and tail blocks, volan glass, and resin tints. It can be ordered as a single fin or a 2+1 fin set up. The natural rocker and hipped outline make this board great for logging hours on those smaller days spent surfing till the sun goes down.
