This course will lead the Learner to a career path in Print Media industry in which s/he will be engaged in designing of Advertisements, Brochures, News paper layouts, Book Designing etc. At the end of the course the Learner will gain competencies to appear for the International Certification: Adobe Certified Expert – InDesign

Eligibility: RS-CIT or Equivalent course in Computer Fundamentals.

Getting Started, Creating and Viewing a Document, Managing Pages and Books, Managing Text, Formatting Text, Placing and working with Graphics, Working with Objects, Managing and Transforming Objects, Applying and Managing Color, Working with Tables, Working with Styles, Finalizing Documents, Exporting a Document, Printing and Outputting a Document , Setting Preferences and Photoshop for Image Editing.

The marking scheme consists of 4 sections shown below:

¬ Section 1 (auto-marking): Learning Viewing the Interactive eLearning Material through ERA: 25 marks¬ Section 2 (auto-marking): Differential Skills Attainment by attempting IPT's: 25 marks¬ Section 3 Online Objective Tests: 25 marks¬ Section 4 (to be evaluated by the Learning Facilitator and sampled and moderated by VMOU

Moderators): Mini-Projects Five SUPW Outputs Published in ePortfolio: 25 marks (Mini-projects can be uploaded only up to the last day of the course.)

The eLearning material shall be continuously punctuated with a variety of formative eAssessment experiences to ensure wholesome assessment.

Certificate Course in Personal Financial Management

Who Should EnrollThis course would benefit anyone who is keen on managing his personal finances. The course is designed in such a way that anyone can learn the different aspect of finance and money management very easily.

Financial literacy refers to the set of skills and knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions through their understanding of finance. Financial Literacy is important to help individuals to meet their life's goals and objectives. The aim of the course is to educate learners on simple concepts of personal finance. The course would cover in simple language topics such as income, taxation, expenditure, savings & investment avenues, borrowing, managing risk, budgeting etc. Participants would also learn about various financial institutions and in what ways they can benefit from these institutions. The course will help participants to become aware of different products through which they can meet their financial needs and finally educate them about the benefits of prudent financial behavior.
