•Currently plan the interviews to go through July 9th.

* Will report on the RAP Process near the end of July.-Public comment period after that.

*Announce their formal RAP decisions in early September.

(RAP)• Funding-10% of funds will go to DACs statewide• Draft guidelines for Prop 84 should be out in the very

near future.• They are working to get final Prop 84 guidelines for Prop

84 out in early September; timing the RAP announcement and guideline release purposefully at the same time.

• They would likely get the final Prop 84 guidelines out regardless of the funding situation just to get it done.

• They are working on an IRWM Plan standard update and long term plans for the IRWM program.

• There is currently no authorization for providing bond funding, so the timing of funding projects is unknown.

North Bay Process-Will continue to participate in Project

Screening Sub-Committee meetings-

June 9 and July 6

Will continue to work with Counties including Solano on identifying possible “Green Infrastructure” projects

- Will coordinate county representatives on H/F TC to respond to EPA RFP and collaborate with SFEP

San Francisco Bay Area Water Quality Improvement Funds

• $ 5 million total from EPA

Priorities

• Reducing polluted run-off from urban development and agriculture. .

• Implementing TMDLs to restore impaired water quality.

Protecting and restoring habitat including riparian corridors, floodplains, wetlands, and the Bay.

EPA $

• Proposals must include specific statements describing the environmental results in terms of well-defined "outputs" and "outcomes". 

• Proposals should specify, numerically, water quality and related environmental outcomes. Outcomes must be quantitative.

EPA $• 1 to 5 grants under this upcoming solicitation.

• Awards will likely range from approximately $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 of federal funds with each project period being up to four years

• A minimum non-federal match of 25 percent of the total cost of the project will be required.
