WATER CONSERVATION PLAN Tanoan Director Marshall Adams, along with our landscaping vendors, LEECO and TLC have proposed that we cap the St. Andrews meter. In it's place they would install 8 new smaller meters to alleviate the 150 -350 gallon an hour leak currently in the original meter. Director Adams is proposing doing the meter replacement project in two phases. Phase 1 would be to cap the lower half of the St. Andrew line and xeriscape ZIA 4 and the golf course entrances at 9522 Pebble Beach and Augusta and Pebble Beach. This would allow us to install the smaller meters for a significant savings. There are also City Water Department rebates to help pay for the project. Phase 2 would be done the following year and we would also receive a rebate for the remaining part of the St. Andrews meter replacement.
