The Company was registered in the year 2007 to provide the innovative solution to safely dispose waste and recover energy form waste during the process of disposal.

The Company have researched, developed and designed plant and equipment for safe disposal/conversion of waste [BMW, MSW, Food Waste, Slaughter House & Plastics etc] for last 15 years, acquired the clearance from the Central Pollution Control Board and State Pollution Control Boards from three States.

The Plant and equipment designs have been indigenously designed for domestic use for segregated / un-segregated waste disposal at the source of generation.

Disposal/conversion of the waste at source eliminates the issues and problems of handling of the colossal waste generated and handled collectively.

The problems and issues with the current systems of land filling and incineration are overcome by ERT [Energy Recovery Technology].

Introduction 3/3

Page 5: Waste to energy

The current technologies for the waste disposal like landfill / incineration / composting are not full proof and sound to resolve the environmental issues in a cost effective way.

In fact these technologies are cost centers and financial burdens on the administration.

The solutions offered to this waste disposal in the developed countries are financially and technically not viable due to high cost, requirement of land, handling of waste for segregation etc..

The quantity of waste generation in Metros is close to 1000 MT/day and growing, other cities are also in the race of generation of waste beyond the handling capacity of the administration.

Problem / Opportunity / Need 1/1

Page 6: Waste to energy

The current technologies are unscientific systems developed as stop gap arrangements to cope up with the issue of waste and the nuances of the waste like decay / odor / stray animals.

o The waste generated form hospital [BMW] is infectious in nature and have some anatomical waste requiring instant and immediate disposal.

o Waste collected by municipal corporations is in hundreds of tons and forms the ground for insect breeding, spreading epidemic, etc.

o Food Waste generated form the eateries, industries, campuses and food processing industry forms the breeding ground for stray animals feeding on the rotten food.

o Slaughter House and dead animal waste though generated in small quantity as compared to the other waste generates a strong odor and spreads air born deceased.

Problem / Opportunity/ Need 2/2

The Waste is defined as Waste(s) also known as rubbish, trash, refuse, garbage, junk and litter is a pejorative term for unwanted materials.

The term can be described as subjective and inaccurate because waste to one person is not waste to another.

The waste as process feed material have all the ingredients with low utility, hence recycling is the only proper way-out till dateo but this also leaves huge quantity of waste un-recycled requiring immediate disposal

measures.o Manual recycling of the colossal waste generated is physically impossible.o Segregation of waste manually is in-human and unhygienic.o The natural decay of the waste is an uncontrolled process and without quantitative and

qualitative results.

Solution 1/3

Page 8: Waste to energy

8 © Innovative Industrial Equipment Pvt. Ltd.

The Solution to the common disposal method is based on the scientific principle of organic chemistry innovatively handled to achieve the desired results in the most environment friendly way.

The waste consists of Hydrocarbons which are recovered in the process in a specially designed equipment to handle the waste in the most safe and scientific way.

Irrespective of any grade / type / quality the hydrocarbons are recovered in the process making it most suitable for the critical waste types such as-o Bio Medical Waste [Infectious]o Municipal Solid waste [Huge quantity and slow degrading]o Slaughter house [High odor and disease spreading]o Waste plastic [a non degradable environment damaging material]

Solution 2/3

Page 9: Waste to energy

9 © Innovative Industrial Equipment Pvt. Ltd.

The Waste can be broadly classified in two categories –o Organic [De compostable]o Inorganic [non compostable / non hydrocarbons]

The problem of degradable waste is more as it is created all over the habitable areas and in high quantity in some specialized area [Hospitals / Railway stations/ religious places etc.]

These hydrocarbons are processed in specially designed equipment to breakdown in the most economical and environment friendly way to generate Hydrocarbons – Liquid & Gases and Carbon black.

All the products have good demand in the market and can be conveniently used for industrial heating and burning purpose.

Feature-Benefits Table 1/1

Landfill Incineration Recycling ERT

Air Emission of CH4, CO2; Odours

Emission of SO2, NOx, HCl, HF, NMVOC, CO, CO2, N2O, dioxins, dibenzofurans, heavy metals(Zn, Pb, Cu, As)

Emissions of dust Only burned hydrocarbon gases

WaterLeaching of salts, heavy metals, biodegradable and persistent organics to groundwater

Deposition of hazardous substances on surface water Waste water discharges

No effluent, no ground/surface water contamination

Soil Accumulation of hazardous substances in soil

Land filling of slag, fly ash and scrap Land filling of final residues

Requires less area as the waste is disposed continuously

LandscapeSoil occupancy;Restriction on other land uses

Visual intrusion;Restriction on other land uses Visual intrusion No visual intrusion or soil

occupancy

Competition and Advantage 1/2

Competition

o First in kind technology

o Patents

o No other indigenously made technology available

o Foreign technology available; however the capital costs of those

technology are too high

o Needs experts for operations and maintenance of the machines

o Technology - This is the most important differentiation

o No competition with regards the indigenous technology

o Differentiation points with regards to foreign technology

Competition and Advantage 2/2

Competitive Advantage

o STRENGTH 10000 tones of waste plastic available per day in India. No Emissions under the controlled reaction conditions.Emission norms acceptable to CPCB & MPCB.Water is not a process component. It is only a cooling media which can be optionally replaced by compressed air.The bulk material is converted in the fuel and hence no side effects to the soil.Totally safe for eco system. No contaminants released to environment.

o WEAKNESS The required quantity of waste plastics is not available at one source however the same needs to be managed with in the estimated time frame.

o OPPORTUNITIES More and more applications of plastics are getting commercialized hence more plastics shall be available for processing.

Possibility of generating 15000MW power from waste plastics.o THREATS Financially strong parties new market entrants may offer the plants at

lower cost.

ERT Advantage

The Advantages of deploying the ERT for safe disposal of MSW

Conventional Technology ERT

• The bio-degradable and recyclable content of the waste need to be separated through a suitable Material Recovery Facility [the MRF]

• The complete waste excluding the building debris of large size is processed along with the bio degradable waste.

• The separation is undertaken after the total hydrocarbon waste is converted for the precious metals etc.

• Technology for Processing of the bio-degradable content of the waste.

• ERT processes bio-degradable waste and hydrocarbons are recovered leaving the non hydrocarbon as residue with the carbon black.

• Technology for Processing of combustible content of the waste.

• ERT processes combustible waste being predominantly mixed hydrocarbons and pure hydrocarbons are recovered leaving the non hydrocarbon as residue solids with the carbon black or liquids & gases.

ERT Advantage

Conventional Technology ERT

• Require Processing Technology for recovering and processing recyclable content of the waste.

• ERT the recyclable waste is recovered after the processing of the waste and the pure hydrocarbons are recovered. Thus reducing the volume of process able content for recovering of recyclable waste.

• No more than 25% of the waste received should be disposed on in the Scientific Landfill.

• The waste disposable in the Scientific Landfill is less than 25% after the ERT Process.

• Plant Life – 5 years Max • Plant Life – 15 years Max
