Ice AgeThe Ice Age began about 100,000 years ago, and was a long period of extreme cold that affected all of earth.

It was a time of major environmental disturbance, and the changes that it brought threatened the very survival of humans

Why do you think the Ice Age threatened human survival?(Turn and talk)

The most recent Ice age occurred 100,000 years ago, and affected areas of Europe, Asia, and even parts of North America

What is this?(Turn and talk)

As glaciers grew larger, the ocean levels lowered, creating a strip of dry land that allowed the nomads to travel to North America. From their people moved to many different regions.

Lets collaborate together to compare and contrast the Paleolithic time and the Ice Ages through a venn diagram.
