• Based on what you have seen, which persuasive appeal would you say is most effective? Why? Cite at least two specific examples to prove your point.
ACTIVITY
• Using the magazines available, find 3 different print ads that you like: one for ethos, one for pathos, one for logos.
• Create a poster for each of these ads, labeling the persuasive appeal AND explaining why it is that appeal.
• Ex.: This toothpaste ad is an example of LOGOS because it uses the fact that 93% of dentists recommend it, and 90% of those who use this toothpaste report fewer cavities and whiter teeth.
CLOSING
• Write yourself a reminder for Monday. What do you need to remember?
