[He may be - or is an under-aged son of John "Foashe" who is in 1809 Captain Benjamin Neil's

District and appears one time in the 1809-1817 Greene County Districts List. December 11,

1794: John "Forshay" married Agnes Weston, bond by Isaac Armitage, who is in the same 1809

District List; and who in 1813 is in Captain Thomas Smith District. These are North Greene

County men, many who live in the Romeo/Baileyton area. Orphan Court Record, April 1809

Term: "State vs George Starnes -- beating and ill treating an orphan boy, Joseph Foshie - boy

taken from his services and transferred to Simon Weston."
