Cow

Cows produce milk. They are the main producer of milk people drink.Cows are cud-chewing animals.Cows drink a bathtub full of waterThey eat 40 lbs of food a day

Pig

There are many different colors of pigs. Some have spots and some do not. Pigs have snouts which help them smell.Pigs provide us with pork, ham, and bacon.

Duck

Ducks like to live in water.They have webbed feet designed to help them swimDucks provide us with eggs.

Horse

Horses use their facial expressions to communicateHorses spend more energy lying downThey are used by humans to ride and transport items

Sheep

Sheep can live to be as old as 20.They can pick their mothers out from a crowd of sheepWe rely on sheep for wool

Culminating Activity

There are many animals on the farm. Turn to a neighbor and tell them 2 facts you learned about your favorite farm animal.

Finally, draw a picture of your farm animal to share with your parents.
