Pass & Seymour/Legrand's broad line of Standard Size Plastic and Metal Wall Plates features the mostcomplete range of types, sizes, colors, and finishes available. Choose from more than 1,900 standardplates in non-combustible thermoset plastic material, self-extinguishing thermoplastic material, or attrac-tively finished metal, for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.
Thermoset Plastic Wall Plates Features• Molded of non-combustible mar-proof material• Available in "P" series line and "SP" series
no-line (smooth) in Standard, Junior Jumbo,& Jumbo sizes.
• Also available in "D" series (Decor ribbed) inStandard size
• Six standard colors availableIvory, White, Brown, Gray, Black, & Red.
• Individually wrapped with color-matching screws.• Color match to Pass & Seymour/Legrand Devices• Resistant to discoloration, greases, oils,
solvents & moisture.
Thermoplastic Wall Plates Features• Available in "RP" series line and "SRP" series
nominal thickness. This alloy contains 18%chromium and 8% nickel for superior resistanceto corrosion. Recommended for use in food pro-cessing plants, dairies, chemical plants, andother industrial, institutional, and commercialapplications where corrosive atmospheres exist.
• Type 430 Stainless Steel, magnetic, .032" nomi-nal thickness. Less corrosion-resistant than Type302, but ideal for general service in high abuseapplications in industrial plants, commercial, andinstitutional buildings.
• Variety of special plated finishes. Paintable tomatch plastic plates.
• Can be silk-screened or engraved, & custompunched with over 300 opening styles.
' Brushed and Polished Brass, .040" thick. 70%copper. 30% zinc alloy gives warm, appealingfinish to modern decor as well as retrofitapplications. Lacquered to prevent corrosion.
1 Aluminum, .040" thick. Lustrous satin finish.Lacquered to prevent corrosion.
•Galvanized Steel. Used only for Handy BoxPlates.
Listed to UL514 - Standard for wall plates, CSA Certified.
Plate Mountings: Illustrated are the five standard methods ofplate mounting, commonly known as CENTER, STRAP, BOX,SIERRAPLEX/INTERCHANGEABLE and FS, (4-SCREW).
There are other non-standard methods which depend on thespecial device used. Exact mounting hole specifications for everydevice appears in the Selector Guide on Pages S43 through S56.
