WALK! Downtown Dayton Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County announces the kick off to the 11th Annual Walk! Downtown Dayton on Wednesday May 18, 2016. is free and non-competitive event will be the kick off to celebrate the start of the summer walking season and promote personal fitness. Walkers will have the opportunity to visit vendor booths starting at 11:30 AM for free blood pressure screenings, health information, and giveaways. We’re asking vendors to be set up and ready to greet walkers by 11:15 am. City of Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley and Health Commissioner Jeff Cooper will kick off activities at noon. Aſter a brief warm-up, participants will walk the scenic route around the river ending back at Riverscape. Email all inquires to Bruce Barcelo at [email protected], or call (937) 225-4398. Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County announces the kick off to the 11th Annual Walk! Downtown Dayton on Wednesday May 18, 2016. This free and non-competitive event will be the kick off to celebrate the start of the summer walking season and promote personal fitness.
