Presentation Notes
Summary Understand the Business Drivers. Where does GIS fit? Put your customer at the centre, treat each one individually Engage and communicate with people in your organisation Take time to listen to what they are saying Get 360 degree feedback Know your strength / Work to your strength A balanced team creates success Build on your success Take calculated risks, be agile and adaptive Its not candy its knowledge (balanced diet) Tell people that the map is the end product or map candy. Its many hours of analysis or Cartography. Let them see the true value of locational intelligence, educate them in how to put business knowledge into place.
