A regal adaption of the Pimm’s Royale.

Pimm’s No. 6, Sacred Rosehip Cup, homemade ‘summer sherbet’ of

strawberries, cucumber, mint and rose. Topped with Champagne.

Garden Negroni £19

Grandpa Goring’s regular breakfast drink was a Negroni. It’s about

time we freshened it up.

Whitley Neill Connoisseurs Cut, Absentroux Provencal vermouth,

Luxardo bitter bianco, Seedlip ‘Garden’, a touch of matcha tea.

A punchy yet fruitified cure for everything.

Chivas 12 yrs whisky infused with mango, blend of Mancino Rosso &

Dry, Cadelo liqueur and Fernet Branca.

M I X I N G S I N C E 1 9 1 0 A hotel or a bar is nothing more than the sum of its guests and

staff, past and present.

The German (1910) £19

Otto Goring was a talented chef from Dresden, who built this hotel in

1910.

Beefeater 24 Infused with orange, homemade yuzu & rosemary

syrup, black pepper & cardamom bitter. Topped with Ayala

Champagne

Transatlantic (1917) £19

In 1917, Chef’s office had a direct phone line installed across to the

President of the United States.

Evan Williams extra aged bourbon, 30 years Palo Cortado sherry,

prune liqueur, citric solution, aquafaba and popcorn essence.

Victory Tea (1932) £20

In the 1930’s, Winston Churchill was a weekly visitor for afternoon

tea with his mother-in-law, who lived at The Goring.

Whitley Neill Connoisseur Cut, Croft pink port infused with

raspberries, Italicus & Jasmine cordial, green strawberry bitters.

Topped with franklin & Sons Grapefruit and Bergamot Tonic

His Majesty (1937) £19

King George VI’s coronation in 1937 was quite a day here at The

Goring.

Ramsbury London Dry Gin, Beesou honey aperitif, Lillet Blanc, honey

water and Peychaud’s Bitters. Topped with kummel air

O’Hara’s Rum Punch (1945) £19

During the war Budge O’Hara was the manager here at The Goring.

Afterwards he sailed over to Barbados and opened the first luxury

hotel on the Island.

The Coronation Cup (1953) £19

We’ve adopted and revamped this favourite aperitif of one of our

very special guests.

Whitley Neill Original Gin, Berkshire Sloe Gin, Dubonnet, electric

bitters, pomegranate and roses.

The Sweeney (1965) £19

1965 was the year Peter Sweeney joined us on the front door. Fifty-

six years later we are still very lucky to see his smiling face every

day.

Olmeca Altos Plata, Ayukk spirit, homemade demerara & coffee

syrup, coffee liqueur and chocolate bitters.

Gorgeous George (1968) £19

When George took over the hotel in 1968 one of his first great

innovations was the sheep in every room.

Ramsbury Vodka infused with butter, green apple liqueur,

homemade tonka bean syrup, citric solution and baked bread

essence.

BLT £19

For many years we had the privilege of welcoming Her Ladyship for

lunch. Her table was always booked under the acronym BLT. Not a

bacon sandwich: Baroness Lady Thatcher, of course.

Lakes “The One” Blend whisky, King’s ginger liqueur, homemade

pear aperitif, and chocolate bitters.

Jubilee Fizz £28

A Champagne cocktail befitting of a toast to seventy years of Her

Majesty. Hoorah!

Ysabel Regina brandy infused with banana, Beirao liqueur, peach

liqueur and edible 24 karat gold leaf. Topped with Bollinger

champagne.

of all beverages is as follows:

The Goring Bar at The Goring Hotel encourages responsible drinking. In accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1995, the measure for

the sale of spirits and liqueurs on the premises is 50ml, Wines are available in 125ml and Champagne at 150ml as standard.

Smaller measures of wine and spirits are available upon request.

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to the bill.
