Volvo Trucks has introduced new, more powerful batteries for its medium-duty electric trucks, with a range of up to 450km and the ability to electrify even more metropolitan transport tasks. The batteries in Volvo's medium-duty truck series provide 42% more energy capacity. It delivers up to 450 km in total range on a single charge. This means that the vehicles can handle most routes and assignments in metropolitan areas, as well as powering equipment for energy-intensive tasks like garbage collection or city building.
