• Consider how you can utilise volunteering to benefit you personally and professionally

• Provide a context of practice – the University of St Mark and St John (Marjon)

• Provide details and links for further information & opportunities

• Start looking at yourself like a product which you need to develop in order to sell and secure future employment.

• In groups of 3 / 4, make a list of the types of jobs you would like to get

• Identify the barriers that may stop you from getting those jobs

• Identify some good volunteering opportunities • Identify the benefits of volunteering
