Boom 

[At the car…]

(Petrol is dripping onto the bonnet of the car)

(Scott’s parents lie unconscious on the dashboard)

(The front of the car starts to spark)

(Scott is getting pulled back)

Scott: IT’S MY PARENTS YOU CAN’T  LEAVE THEM BEHIND!

(He breaks free and starts running towards the tanker)

 Man: Come back!!

(Petrol starts to fall into the car’s engine bay) 

(Small sparks appear) (Scott is running frantically to the car)

Scott: Nearly there!!

(He runs up onto a car) (He slips) (He gets off the car and runs)

(He puts his hand out towards the car) (The car explodes)

Scott: Ahh!

(He gets blown back and hits the ground)

THUD!!

(A force field protects the car from damage)

(Scott looks at the car) (He sighs with relief)

(He disappears for a few seconds) (Tornado appears in the sky)

(Tornado lands) (He rips his parent’s car roof off)

(He grabs both of his parents) (He takes off)

[Ten Minutes Later….]

Teenage League Headquarters, Vauxhall...

(Edward taps on his keyboard)

Oliver: What is the status now!!Edward: Scott is over Leatherhead now… ETA should be 5 minutes!! Oliver: I’ll go and prepare the medical bay!

(He runs out of Command and Control)

[At Mark’s House…]

(Mark and James sit down on the Sofa)

 Mark: For someone who is meant to be resting, I think you took that jog a bit too

seriously bro!

(James starts laughing) (James switches on the TV)

“And now we return to our Breaking News Story. In the last half an hour, a fueltanker has crashed on the M3 just outside Winchester. It is believed that therewas a mechanical fault with the vehicle and that caused it to crash”

(Mark stands up)

 Mark: That looks like Scott’s parents car! It can’t be! It must be a coincidence!! 

(James’s face changes)

 James: Didn’t Scott say that his parents were going to Southampton today?  Mark: The only sensible way of getting to Southampton is usually the M3! James: Are you sure of what you saw Mark?

(Mark looks at James)

 Mark: I’ve travelled in that car thousands of times, I’d know it when I see it! 

(Mark’s watch flashes green)

 James: Edward is contacting you! It must be them!

(Mark lifts his watch to his mouth)

Edward: MARK, YOU NEED TO GET TO BASE QUICK!! Scott’s… 

(Mark interrupts)

 Mark: EDWARD SLOW DOWN!!Edward: Mark, you need to get yourself to base ASAP, Scott’s parents have been

involved in an accident on the M3. If it wasn’t for Scott, they’d be dead! He’s pretty shaken up as you imagine, he’s gonna need support!  Mark: On my way!

(He puts his arm down)

 James: What did he have to say?

(Mark slowly turns around)

 Mark: It was them! Scott’s flying them back to base now! I’ve got to go! 

 James: I’ll come with you!  Mark: Oh no! You are staying here! James: Come on man! I am fine! Mark: I don’t care if you are! You’re staying here!

(James salutes Mark)

 James: Yes sir!

[Later in the medical bay...]

(Scott and Oliver walk into the medical bay)

Edward: I’ve been looking over their vital signs, they are ok! Virgil said that ifthey get any worse that he’ll come and take a look at them, all they need fornow is a good rest!

(Scott sighs with relief) (He looks at Oliver)

Scott: I guess the game is up now, I’ll have to tell them!Oliver: Maybe it’s not such a bad thing, they are your parents Scott, they willaccept, understand and support!Scott: I know Dad will come around first, Mum will give me some shit for it buthey!Edward: The most important thing in all of this is that your parents are alive!Scott: Very true! Guess I better call Jeremy and Samantha, let them know

(He walks away)

Oliver: That was a good call! If you did not spot their car! They would not behere now!Edward: I was only doing my job!Oliver: Still! You deserve all the credit I can give you! You saved their lives!

(He pats Edward on the back and walks out the medical bay)

[Upstairs in the Lounge….]

(Jeremy sits on the sofa)

 Jeremy: So… You got there just in time? 

(Scott nods his head)

Samantha: Scott!

(He looks at Samantha)

Scott: Yes Samantha?Samantha: THANK YOU!

(Tears run down her cheeks)

Scott: They are our parents! Jeremy: I know I give you shit 90% of the time bro, but truly I don’t know what Iwould have done if they had died!

(He gets up) (Scott stands up and hugs him)

(The speakers crackle)

“Guys, you have two awake and thankful parents waiting to see you!” 

(Scott puts his watch to his mouth) (It flashes blue)

Scott: Thanks Edward! We’ll be right there!

(Jeremy, Samantha and Scott walk towards the stairs)

[In the medical bay …]

(Jeremy, Samantha and Scott walk in)

 Mum: You’re all here!!

(She smiles) (Samantha runs to her mother and hugs her)

(Scott walks over to his father) (His father shakes his hand)

Dad: Thank you Scott! Edward told us you saved us from the carScott: It’s my duty as your son to make sure you old timers are looked after! 

(He winks) (Dad laughs)

 Mum: Scott! (He turns to look at his mum)

Scott: Yes Mum! (He smiles) Mum: Or should I say TORNADO!

(She smiles) Scott: Mum! I’m…

(She shakes her head)

 Mum: We would not be here if it wasn’t for your tenacity and bravery Scott! Ithank you so much, my beautiful boy!

(She kisses him on the forehead)

Scott: Does this mean I am no longer grounded? Mum: Yes! You have a lot of credit in the bank! A LOT!

(They all laugh) (Scott smiles)
