It is a graphic representation of a year-long emphasis on health in the life of the church. Using the “Model for Healthy Living” developed by the Church Health Center in Memphis, TN, we will explore the seven dimensions of health that lead to the full life God has promised us through Jesus Christ. Health is more than the absence of disease. Health is more than fighting away death; it is choosing life to the very fullest. During Sunday morning worship services in January and February we will look at one of the dimensions of this “full” life that God gives to us. When all seven of these areas are in balance, then we can know the joy of “living wholly.” In addition to a worship focus on health, we are planning classes on Sunday nights, Wednesday nights and other times during the week that will teach and encourage “living wholly” as healthy Christians. Find the classes that interest you and join us on a journey to better health during this year. We are to be good stewards of our bodies, minds, and souls which God has so graciously given to us. The Bible has much to say to help us with this “living wholly.” I invite you to join me as we learn together. FiRST THouGHTSDavid Hull, Pastor

You will begin to see the logo above around the church during 2014. It is a graphic representation of a year-long emphasis on health in the life of the church. Using the

“Model for Healthy Living” developed by the Church Health Center in Memphis, TN, we will explore the seven dimensions of health that lead to the full life God has promised us through Jesus Christ. Health is more than the absence of disease. Health is more than fighting away death; it is choosing life to the very fullest. During Sunday morning worship services in January and February we will look at one of the dimensions of this “full” life that God gives to us. When all seven of these areas are in balance, then we can know the joy of “living wholly.”

In addition to a worship focus on health, we are planning classes on Sunday nights, Wednesday nights and other times during the week that will teach and encourage “living wholly” as healthy Christians. Find the classes that interest you and join us on a journey to better health during this year. We are to be good stewards of our bodies, minds, and souls which God has so graciously given to us. The Bible has much to say to help us with this “living wholly.” I invite you to join me as we learn together.
