May 19th marked the birthday of Malcolm X (el Hajj Malik el Shabazz). Brother Malcolm continues to represent one of the best examples of personal redemption and revolutionary transformation of 20th century Black America. Unfortunately, many of us have failed to take heed to his warnings concerning the duplicity of both mainstream political parties (republicans and democrats) and their supposedly contentious political tendencies (liberalism versus conservatism). Malcolm correctly pointed out that both political parties and philosophies were opposed to gen- uine Black freedom and self-determination and were actual- ly mechanisms to promote and defend white-supremacy and economic injustice (capitalism) while keeping Black folks under control and containment. He referred to them as the fox versus the wolf. One was slick and sly while the other was more direct and confrontational. However, both intend to eat you for dinner. So today, as we approach the 2020 presidential election, the foxes of the democratic party have already began the process of identifying, hunting and de- vouring the Black electorate in the quest to regain control of the white-house, and perhaps later, control of the U.S. senate. The latest ploy involves a host of democratic candidates paying lip-service in support of Reparations, criminal justice re- form and so-called ‘civil-rights’. There was even a congressional hearing held on June 19th, 2019 (Juneteenth) concerning HR 40 which calls for a panel to be commissioned regarding the study of reparations. It’s not by coincidence, that approximately two weeks later, the democrats held their first series of debates among potential presidential candidates. So here we are again, allowing ourselves to be duped and manipulated into throwing our support and votes behind people who don’t really share or care about the collective best interest of Black/ New Afrikan people. We need to remember and reflect on the lessons that Brother Malcolm taught us. If we really want to be free, we must conduct ourselves as people who truly desire freedom. Say no to both the wolves and the foxes. Time to leave the political plantation of the democratic party. May 19th marked the birthday of Malcolm X (el Hajj Malik el Shabazz). Brother Malcolm
continues to represent one of the best examples of personal redemption and revolutionary
transformation of 20th century Black America. Unfortunately, many of us have failed to take
heed to his warnings concerning the duplicity of both mainstream political parties
(republicans and democrats) and their supposedly contentious political tendencies (liberalism
versus conservatism). Malcolm correctly pointed out that
both political parties and philosophies were opposed to gen-
uine Black freedom and self-determination and were actual-
ly mechanisms to promote and defend white-supremacy and
economic injustice (capitalism) while keeping Black folks
under control and containment. He referred to them as the
fox versus the wolf. One was slick and sly while the other
was more direct and confrontational. However, both intend
to eat you for dinner. So today, as we approach the 2020
presidential election, the foxes of the democratic party have
already began the process of identifying, hunting and de-
vouring the Black electorate in the quest to regain control of
the white-house, and perhaps later, control of the U.S. senate. The latest ploy involves a host
of democratic candidates paying lip-service in support of Reparations, criminal justice re-
form and so-called ‘civil-rights’. There was even a congressional hearing held on June 19th,
2019 (Juneteenth) concerning HR 40 which calls for a panel to be commissioned regarding

democrats held their first series of debates among potential presidential candidates. So here
we are again, allowing ourselves to be duped and manipulated into throwing our support and

New Afrikan people. We need to remember and reflect on the lessons that Brother Malcolm
taught us. If we really want to be free, we must conduct ourselves as people who truly desire

P a g e 2 V o l u m e 5 , i s s u e 2
The time is now for us to organize, build and support an independent Black/New Afrikan Labor Organi-
zation!
We are tired of the traditional labor unions neglecting and bypassing the needs of Black workers for jobs
and employment.
Witness the multiple tax-payer funded projects in your area that have very few or no Black workers on
the site. Witness the multiple construction projects in your area subsidized with tax-payer dollars that
have very few if any Black workers on site. The time is now! Join and Support the New Afrikan Workers
Union! (www.newafrikanworkers.org)
Register and join us at the 2019 Working While Black Expo (working while black expo)
