Scholarship & BursariesWIGUT (Jamaica) continues to contribute to the educational growth and wellbeing of students on the UWI Mona Campus. WIGUT is a significant donor of bursaries and yearly has awarded Special and General Bursaries. For the period 2017-2019, $4.8m was disbursed, including a one-time special post-graduate scholarship in recognition of its 60th Anniversary. This was awarded in October 2018.

UWI Blue Book and You!Conditions Governing Housing (Clause 98) Appendix IXIn recognition of the special circumstances of the Mona Campus, it is agreed that, with respect to members of the bargaining unit, 1. The University shall Either: a) provide housing, which may be owned or rented by the University, at a rate of J$360 per annum; Or: b) provide a Housing Allowance which allows the staff member to make his/her own arrangements for housing. This Allowance is currently 30% of basic salary, less J$360 per annum.
