NOTICES
Hello Voyager Guests and Residents, I hope you all have had a wonderful season. It is hard to believe it is April already. Thank you so much for choosing Voyager as your home away from home if you are traveling and for those of you staying with us, I cannot thank you enough for making Voyager your year-round home. While Voyager is known for its diversity of programs, activities, and entertainment, I hear from all of you that it is the friendliness of the community that makes Voyager the best place to experience Arizona. We all remember the moment we fell in love with Tucson. I remember being asked by a journalist how I would describe Tucson, and I replied, “Mountains in every direction, not a bad tamale in town, a little grit, a lot of class and never pretentious.” When describing Voyager, I like to add that it is nearly impossible to distinguish our guests, residents, and employees from each other because we all treat each other as if we were welcoming each other into our own homes. I suppose that is why we require name badges to be worn at all times!
And that is just the tip of the iceberg! Speaking of icebergs…. Did you have a chance to take in all the beauty of the snow this season? If you blinked, you might have missed it! There are so many things that make Tucson special, just as there are many things that make Voyager the best place to stay in Tucson. We need your help to ensure Voyager remains the best place to stay and play in Arizona. As the season draws to an end, make sure you have plans for Summer Care if you are departing. Weeds spread like, well; weeds and they will be about the only thing that grows when your home is left unattended. As a reminder, we will let you know if your home needs attention. If your home is not maintained in your absence, we owe it to your neighbors to address the issue. While we do everything we can to ensure weed removal is cost effective for you, it most likely will cost more than if you had made plans proactively to address the issue. We have a friendly staff at the front desk that can provide suggestions on how to keep your home looking immaculate while you are away, and welcoming when you return. If you notice an area that needs attention, please call our front desk so that we can fix it immediately. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly to the Voyager Community. I truly enjoy all your wonderful stories and suggestions, and welcome you to continue letting me know how to ensure we make each year better for all our guests and employees. Safe travels and may your summer be an exceptional adventure! Geoffrey Campbell, General Manager

FAITH, GIVING & THANKS
Voyager Chapel Pastor’s Corner I can’t believe it’s April already! Where has the winter season in Tucson gone?
I know that many of you are anxious to head “home” as the time for planting gardens and caring for lawns is rapidly approaching. However, as long as you’re here, I hope you’ll join us full-timers in worshipping at the Voyager Community Chapel each Sunday at 9:30 am in the Ballroom. Whether you are a visitor, winter resident, or full-timer, we hope you will join us to worship God this Sunday!
In April we will hold services the first two Sundays; then Holy Thursday (called Maundy Thursday by some) and, of course on Easter Sunday – our Lord’s Resurrection Day.
On Sunday April 7 our study will be “We are God’s Handiwork” – Ephesians 2:1-10 On Sunday April 14 our study will be “Rejoice from Sea to Sea” – Matthew 21:1-11 On Holy Thursday April 18 our study will be “Where is my cross?” – John 13:1-17 On Easter Sunday April 21 our study will be “He is Risen!” – John 20:1-18
The third Sunday of each month the Chapel donates its entire offering to one of our local Charities. This season our charities were: Salvation Army Toy & Book drive; Interfaith Community Services; Primavera Foundation; Gospel Rescue Mission and the Community Food Bank. At the time of this writing I do not have the final numbers, but I know that our donations to these groups will exceed $80,000! The Voyager Chapel loves Tucson, and contributes generously to the support of those in need in The Old Pueblo.
May the Love and Protection of our Lord go with you as you travel this summer, and may you safely return to the welcoming community of the Voyager Resort next season.
Blessings, Pastor David Pace

On display were 99 quilts of varying sizes and creative small items. Benita Pipes and Rosie Posgai extend a big "thank you" to the many Tucson businesses, various Voyager groups (especially the Mail Service Center) and numerous quilters for their contributions to the Mini-Raffle. A list of donors and winners as well as other Quilt Show information is in the Quilters 2 March Newsletter on our website at http://www.quilters2.com/.
