Volume 2 Memory Game Instructions: On heavy paper or cardstock, print out the three pages with timeline figures and dates. If desired, use fourth page to print owl logo on back of cards. Cut out individual cards along dotted lines. Four blank cards are provided to add additional dates as needed, as well as two answer keys. Game is played by standard memory game rules: Lay cards face down on table (or, if you are like my family, on the floor:) Stir cards to mix thoroughly. Arrange cards in a grid on the table. Players take turns turning over two cards at a time, looking for a timeline figure and its matching date. If a match is found, player takes another turn. If no match is found, the play moves to the next child. Player with the most matches wins! Tip: If players are unfamiliar with the dates, try color coding your set with crayons or colored pencils by outlining the matching cards with like colors. Example: Draw a red square around both the Pentecost card and its matching date, a blue square around the Creed card and its date, etc. Pentecost c. AD. 33 Apostles Creed c.
