Stitch in Time Bucket—Starting January 9, 2016—

1st Sat. of each month — 10:30 am –12:30 pm (Jan 9 will

be at 1:30-3:30)

Looking for a new wool appliqué project, but not a quilt, wall

hanging, pillow, bag, or a needle keeper, etc? We have

found a project we think you will like — it is a good-sized

sewing basket by Under the Garden Moon. Eight outside

pockets each have a different appliqué design, plus one

more pocket on the inside, and there are appliqués on the

rim of the bucket as well. Each month for five months we

will send you the cotton and wool for the appliqué and the

sixth month we will offer an all-day class to put it all to-

gether. We think it looks great and look forward to having

all our hand-stitching supplies in one place with this cute

Muslins by Marcus Fabrics. Aged Muslin offers a great

alternative to true solids, with an aged appearance that

lends itself to a range of decorating styles. Available in

2 color pallet: Neutral or Multi with option of light

(cream) or Dark (Navy) Background

Cost: $19.00 per month. Kits will include patterns and

all fabrics needed to complete the top and binding.

River Rock—Starting January 16, 2016—

3rd Sat of each month—10:30 am-12:30 pm

36 batiks in blues, greens and other earthy shades make

up the River Rock quilt. You will receive a pack of 10‖

squares each month to create one large block, one small

block, and a setting piece. We will have the fabrics to match

if you would like to add borders to create a queen size quilt.

9 month program: finished size: 77 1/2" x 85"

Cost: $29.00 per month (kit price includes the patterns,

batiks for finishing the quilt top, binding included).

Crystal Blue – Starting in April 16—

3rd Sat. of each month — 1:30pm –3:30 pm

Hoffman’s Sew Into It! features the Crystal Blue kaleidoscope star project that

finishes as a 90″ square quilt (queen size). The project is designed by Jeanie

Sumrall-Ajero, founder of Kaleidoscope Kreator software, using Hoffman Bali

Watercolors (Style #1895) hand-dyes. Fabrics have been cut with a laser-

guided machine. All the cutting work is done, leaving the fun part for you — no

templates, no paper, no math, no Y seams, no cut-off points and no guess-

work. A quilter with basic techniques will be able to master this stunning pro-

ject.

This is one of Judy Niemeyer patterns that has always intrigued us

and now is available with Judy new batik collection Tonga Lakeshore.

It is an easy paper piece method with simple curves and a row finish-

ing technique. Easy enough for beginner paper piecers!! You can

make into a larger queen by adding a border around the whole quilt.

We reserve the right to cancel any class four days prior, if there isn’t enough to fill the class. Class participants will receive a 15% discount

Strip and Cuddle — These irresistible quilts

are sure to bring joy and snuggles. Working with cud-

dle fabrics, we will create simple quilt as you go quilts;

so when you are done sewing, it is ready for the bind-

ing! We will show you how to do a cuddle binding on

the machine. Great gifts as they are fast and no quilt-

Beginning Quilting — Have you wanted to learn how to quilt, but just don’t know where to start? Join Anna

and learn the basic skills of making a quilt, including choosing fabric, rotary cutting, sewing an accurate seam,

pressing, borders, binding, and a lot more in this six week class. You will be making a sampler wall hanging top in

class as you learn how to make six different quilt blocks. We’ll also show you other fun ideas on how to use these

simple blocks to make larger quilts.
