What is “Dove tail” interlocking joint ?

Dove tail is an interlocking joint between mosaic and adhesive .In Japan modern building all mosaic and tile made with Dove tail interlocking concept especially with swimming pool and external wall application. Its capable to withstand extreme weather , earthquake and typhoon which mostly happen in Japan. As the technology passes to other country such as Malaysia with unconditional hot and humid weather ,“Dove tile” interlocking concept is main advantage to improve adhesion and prevent tile from falling.
