State, County, City and Church dignitaries joined local citizens and those who have worked with Josie Roy bring this dream to fruition. Among those making remarks were Sen. Nicole Poore, Sen. Margaret Rose-Henry, pictured Rep. J.J. Johnson, NCC Executive Tom Gordon and NCC Dep. Administrate Off icer Samuel Guy and City Councilwoman Teal Petty were among the many speakers. William Westbrook, Peninsula Conference, Madeleine Dunn . Nat’l Historical Register Coordinator, Sarah Dennison from the State spoke briefly. the Cocktail4 dashes Angostura bitters 1 tsp Sugar 1 Orange wheel 1 Maraschino cherry 1 splash Club soda 2 oz Bourbon
In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle the bitters, sugar, orange wheel, cherry and a splash of soda.
Remove the orange rind, add the bourbon and fill with ice.Garnish with a fresh orange wheel and cherry.

here’s howIn a bowl combine all ingredients except the oysters and mix thoroughly to combine. Transfer butter mixture to a piece of plastic wrap and roll up to form a tight log and freeze until firm.
Preheat a grill to high.Place the washed oyster shells on a baking sheet and top each shell with 1 oyster. Remove the butter from the freezer and unwrap. Slice the butter into 24 rounds and place 1 round on top of each oyster. Place the oysters on the preheated grill and cook until the oysters are just cooked through, curled around the edges and the butter is melted and bubbly, 4 to 6 minutes.

Castle's most haunted houses - where you may meet the "Woman
in Blue." After exploring the Amstel House, you will be guided through New Castle's darkened streets and alleyways where you
will hear macabre tales of hauntings, Victorian death & funeral customs, and crime &
punishment that span the 360-year history of this
Delaware River town.
