3rd ANNUAL 95th DIVISION REUNION

The date of September 5, 1952 may not go down in his-tory as a significant date, but to the appr_Imate num-ber of 2000 former 95thers and wives who will gather atthe Deshler-Wallick Hotel in Columbus, Ohio, it will

signify the start of another three day session of re-newed army day friendships p yarn swapping and merry-making, climaxed by a solemn and impressive Sunday morn-ing service dedicated to your 95th buddies who did notcome back.

Those who attended one or both of our previous reunionswill need no urging to attend the third shindig - otherswho for various reasons could not make the grade in 1%0and 1951 are assured that if they can possibly make itthis year - do so. They will have the best time sincethat three day pass in Paris. General and Mrs. Twaddlewill positively be there as will a host of other formerofficers and enlisted men from all corners of the coun-

try. Judging from the mail, there will be another _lar_group from the eastern seaboard. You eastern boysturned out surprisingly well for the two Chicago con-ventions - this year with the reunion closer home youmay have enough present to vote the 1953 convention inyour own back yard.

JERRY BASS (Co E 379th) is chairman of the reunion com-mittee this year and he promises a real rip snortin'affair. There will be no stag or smoker this year --the ladies are in the picture all the way through thistime. As usual Friday will be devoted to registrationsand get-together of old buddies. In the evening therewill be a full course dinner served (the Deshler-Wallick

is noted for their good food), entertainment, and theselection of "Sweetheart of the 95th" from the ranks of

wives or sweethearts of members attending. Jerry sayshe has some swell acts lined up for entertain_nent andour sweetheart of the 95th will be cv@vned by the mayorof Columbus. Saturday morning will see another of thosepeppy business meetings which have been so interesting

•the past two years and this one should be no different. You are again invited to bring forth the names of qual-ified men in the election of officers. The present

board has served two terms and are now ready to stepaside for new blood. The selection of future conven-

tion city has always produced lively discussion with alot of laughs thrown in so let's all get in there andplug for the home town.

Saturday night will usher in another dinner-dance (in- ,_formal). One of the best bands down Ohio way has beenengaged - Joe Weieberg and his Orchestra - so that youmay trip the light fantastic after another of those de-licious Deshler-Wallick banquets.

UCE FORFR AY NIOHT AND$4.25 per plate (tip included)

PRICE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER DANCE$4.25 per plate (tip included)

WHERE COULD YOU GET A BETTER DEAL _AN THAT?

Sunday morning will be dedicated to the "Metz Hour", ashort but very impressive non-sectarian religious ser-vice in which we remember the 95th boys we left behindus overseas. General Twaddle and a former 95th chap-

- lain will conduct this service.

There it is fellows -- three days of fun, renewal offox hole friendships, and one hour of formal remembranceof those 95thers who gave their lives. A week end youwill never forget.
