Mazal Tov to Donn Rubin!
Donn Rubin, president of BioSTL, was written up recently in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. BioSTL is a trade organization for the life-sciences industry that hopes to attract pandemic-related innovations to St. Louis with a $2.96 million federal grant. The grant will be used to establish the Center for National Pandemic Resiliency in Biosciences. Donn has brought several ideas from Israel to be developed at this center. We are very proud to claim him as a member of Kol Rinah. You can read or hear more about it by clicking here: Post Dispatch or KMOX podcast or BioSTL.

KR On The Move! On January 21, 2021, the Kol Rinah Board of Directors unanimously voted to authorize construction on Phase 1 (64 children) of the Early Childhood Center at Maryland Avenue. The Third Floor Office Fit-Out project at Maryland Avenue is scheduled for substantial completion on February 8th, when we can begin to permanently move our offices from the U. City building to Maryland Ave. We continue to complete the rest of the additional scope of the base project (Coffee Bar, Sanctuary Vestibules, Acoustic Panels), as well as a handful of donor-sponsored projects around the building (Memorial Plaques, Stained Glass, Artwork, Site Sculptures, etc.).

Kol Rinah Board approves a motion to proceed with Early Childhood Center Development at our Maryland Avenue Campus
Based on the unanimous recommendation of Kol Rinah Leadership and the Kol Rinah Facilities Committee, the Kol Rinah Board of Directors has authorized the Construction of Phase 1 of the Early Childhood Center (ECC) project at the Maryland Avenue Building. Approval of this Motion allows BSI Constructors to begin construction as soon as we finalize the details of a Loan Guarantee, and the details of a construction loan with Enterprise Bank. This will allow our ECC program to continue to operate with minimum disruption and provides us with the opportunity for eventually expanding the ECC program beyond the capacity at the existing U. City location.
The ECC will move from the U. City location after June 30, 2021. The new center will be named in honor of our lead donors Michael and Noemi Neidorff.
