My little House

In the Day 3 meeting, I got some inspiration from the third project by two guys, which is the shade/shadow in campus …

Solar Gain

• Solar gain refers to the increase in temperature in a space, object or structure that results from solar radiation.

• The amount of solar gain increases with the strength of the sunlight, and with the ability of any intervening material to transmit or resist the radiation.

• Certain materials and substances such as glass, are more transparent to the shorter wavelengths than the longer.

• The materials that we chose are important for house design.

• This effect, the greenhouse effect, so called due to the solar gain that is experienced behind the glass of a greenhouse.

Micro greenhouse

As what I have mentioned in Balance/Unbalance video, the greenhouse effect would be the global problem, therefore, we have the micro problem if our house is the model as the world, so that the material and the design are the important elements that we should concern when we build a house.
