Commbank Kaching delivered the worlds first mobile wallet application that utilises NFC

and social payment solutions to deliver greater value to The Banks customers, over and

above the then current success of NetBank. Kaching leveraged the Vivant Mobile Wallet

solution and within the first 6 months had been downloaded over 100,000 times on iOS

and achieved a 4 star rating. Today the app has accounted for over 1.6m downloads across

native iOS / Android and over $12Bn in transactions since 2012.

The Property Guide was a world first mobile solution that delivered smarter property

insights, massive brand exposure, lead generation and recognition as the world’s best

mobile marketing campaign in 2011. The app was download 100,000 times in the first 3

months and became the number one lifestyle related apps and number three amongst all

apps in Australia. Within the first year the app had returned a ROMI of 1095 surpassing

original expectations of 50%. Today the app accounts for over 150 calls a month for home

loan enquiries generating The Bank 50 new applications a month.

The Commonwealth Bank iPhone application was used by more people than any other

finance app in Australia. It did a good job of helping customers manage their money on

the go but had poor user ratings. The challenge was to review and improve the user

experience and extend it to Android to improve reach. Vivant utilised a lean UX approach

to define key user problems and employed an agile methodology to test and learn

iterations of the interface and interactions. The end result was the launch of a well received

app which generated a 4 star rating in the iOS and Android stores offering more features.

RP Data recognised that the traditional paper based process of identifying the value of a

property in what is a very dynamic market had to be challenged. Vivant developed an

industry changing iPad application which engaged vendors and combined the agents

local expertise in a collaborative and interactive way to secure more business for the agent.

The solution is considered an “industry changing application” by Gill Davis with uptake of

200% over expectations. The app has been downloaded by 21% of agents in Australia and

accounts for 20 new data attributions back to RP Data with each visit.

experience which is relevant and contextual every time on your mobile phone. Telstra

leveraged Vivant’s proximity based marketing platform, Henry, to create an ecosystem

where merchants can deliver highly targeted offers and experiences to customers via the

mobile phone. With the benefit of real time reporting and deep data analytics, Merchants

can now truly create targeted cost efficient campaigns, while customers are presented

highly relevant and contextual offers.

The “Game for Good” leveraged the Jaro platform to create a charity based Jaro Knockout

Tournament where the player prize and charity donation pool was crowd funded by the

players. Players were offered to split their ticket cost. The split was used to raise money for

charity and one lucky winner. The beta tournament raise £25,000 where £13,462 went to

charity and £11,538 went to the players prize. Of the 1169 players, 2728 tickets were sold

and 54% of the ticket price was given to charity as part of the split. The Game for Good

benefitted The British Red Cross, Amnesty International and WWF plus 12 other charities.

TEDxSydney is the largest TEDx in the world. It is also a significant event within the Sydney

community. Vivant’s human-centred approach uncovered a unique insight into capturing

ideas at the event. Leveraging new world-first video streaming technology Vivant was able

to capture “moments worth sharing” through an original 2nd-screen companion app.

Attendees at the event were able to capture, share and re-live moments that inspired their

imaginations.
