Career: Head of the Engine & Drivetrain Systems business unit at Continental Powertrain (from January to September 2019) Head of the Engine Systems business unit at Continental Powertrain (from February 2012 to December 2018) Member of the management board of Mahle GmbH, heading the business unit Filtration and Engine Peripherals (from September 2010 to December 2011) Head of the Sensors & Actuators business unit at Continental Powertrain (from October 2007 to August 2010) Head of Drivetrain at Siemens VDO with the responsibility for transmission control units and HEV components (from February 2006 to October 2007) Head of Smart Sensors in the Powertrain Sensors business unit at Siemens VDO (from November 2003 to January 2006). Started his career in 1994 as project manager for mobile data applications and automotive communications at Siemens Mobile Phones, set up and headed the new business field Wireless Modules (until July 2000), then became General Manager Communications Devices at Siemens Ltd.
