For the first time, Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London took place at London’s iconic venue, Olympia London.

The event was all on one level giving both Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging equal standing. The event attracted 4003 attendees, making it its sixth year of growth! Visitors interested in luxury packaging increased by 134% compared to last year and testament to the quality and quantity of visitors coming to the show is shown through 75% of exhibitors rebooking for 2016!

The floor was buzzing with visitors looking for the latest packaging solutions and exhibitors doing business with brand, marketing, design and packaging professionals from leading brands and retailers. Find out just how successful the 2015 event was with key statistics and information inside.

The future of branded and inspirational packagingPackaging Innovations London continues to grow year on year as it provides packaging professionals with new inspiration and ideas with every visit, plus the latest in branding and design innovations as well as new packaging materials, formats and concepts.

Established and new brands shared their ideas and knowledge on how original thinking and imaginative packaging design can create a strong brand identity and desirability.

The Great Innovation Debate Chaired by

The Debate saw brands and packaging experts discuss the topic of innovation with an audience of buyers eager to learn how to innovate in the packaging projects.

Brand Innovation ProgrammeLeading design and brand agencies

shared their ideas, advice and case studies with and audience of visitors looking to enhance their brand. Speaking companies included; Webb deVlam, Equator Design, Finish Creative, plus many more.

Learnshops ProgrammeLeading brands spoke as part of the seminar programme from a variety of industries to inspire creativity and provide valuable information to the audience. Brands speaking include: Liberty, Müller, Marks & Spencer, plus many more.

CONFERENCE

Luxury Packaging ConferenceThe free to attend conference featured leading brands and innovators such as; Crabtree & Evelyn, Lush, Harrods and Novalia evaluate, debate and celebrate the latest creative thinking and innovations in luxury and premium branding, packaging and design.

Live Design ChallengeThree designers battled it out on

stage to create a pack to hold a Rugby Ball to celebrate the World Cup. The timed competition really put the designers through their paces to create a 3D visual for the audience.

Innovation Showcase10 leading exhibitors shared their latest

innovations with an audience of buyers keen to see what is brand new on the market.

Innovation WallAn expert scribbler created an Innovation Wall of

both exhibitors and visitors ideas of what they think innovation is.

Tea HeritageBPIF Cartons and the Museum of Brands hosted a

feature to demonstrate how tea manufacturers have used cartons to reinforce brand value and deliver innovation for the past 60 years.

Packaging Consultancy Clinic Hosted by:

The Packaging Consultancy was a popular feature at the event. Clinicians were on hand to provide one-to-one personalised professional advice on any aspect of packaging.

Pimm’s O’clockBetween 14:30 – 15:30 visitors could get a free

glass of Pimm’s to enjoy whilst wandering around the exhibition.

Networking PartyThe Networking Party took place as the show closed on the 16 September. It was a great evening with both exhibitors and visitors catching up and having a casual drink after a busy day at the show.
