SNS PROMOTES THESE KINDS OF ACTIVITIES:Networks: SNS promotes networking between researchers from different countries and research sections. Funds should be used for organizing workshops, addressing challenges and creating synergies in the Nordic forest sector. 100 000-250 000 SEK/year. CARs: Longer time networking. 300 000-600 000 SEK/year for 5 years. Research projects: Projects should relate to various prioritised themes of the SNS strategy. 200 000-500 000 SEK/year for 3 years. Scholarships: To encourage Nordic education and knowledge exchange within forest genetic resources, supply of seeds and regeneration methods. 20 000 NOK/person and year.
