Vishwa Group of Education and Research Society (VGERS) formally known as “The New

Face of Education” has been established in 2019 registered at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

VGERS is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working to increase literacy across

India.

The main objective of the Society to work towards creating a better India by providing basic

education and empowerment to the students and Society

Democratizing higher education by taking it to the doorsteps of the learners

Providing access to high quality education to all those who seek it irrespective of age,

region, religion and gender

6.1 The VGERS offers Offline and Online Courses:

Offline Courses are listed: Vocational, Post Graduate Diploma, Under Graduate Diploma,

Career, Certificates and Vacation Courses. Online Courses are listed: Vocational and

Certificates Courses which are conventional as well as innovative. Most of these programmes

have been developed after an initial survey of the need of such programmes. They are

launched with a view to fulfilling the learner’s needs for:

7. COURSE PREPARATION

Learning material is specially prepared by teams of expert drawn from different universities

and specialized institutions in the area spread throughout the country as well as in-house

faculty. The material is scrutinized by the content experts, in-house faculty and edited by the

language experts at VGERS before these are finally sent for printing. Similarly, audio and

video materials are produced in consultation with the course writers, in-house faculty and

producers. The materials is previewed and reviewed by the faculty as well as outside experts

and edited /modified, wherever necessary, before they are finally dispatched to the students,

Study centers.

8. SUPPORT SERVICES

In order to provide individualized support to its learners, the university has a large number of

Study Centre/Franchisee Centre, spread across the country. This Study Centre/Franchisee

Centre are coordinated by Regional Office. At the Study Centre/Franchisee Centre, the

learners interact with the Academic Counselors and other learners, refer to books in the

library, watch/listen to video/audio programmes and interact with the coordinator on

administrative and academic matters. Support services are also provided through work

Centre, programme Study Centre, skill development Centre and special Study Centre.

In case the number of student’s enrolled in program is small, the university shall provide

Technology Enabled Learners Support (TELS) web based support.

9. PROGRAM AIM

The program aims at imparting global skills in Animation, Multimedia, Web and Post

Production, Vocational and Skill Development

10. PROGRAM GOALS

The program emphasizes on a holistic development of the students including general skills

such as communications, teamwork, problem solving, besides technical skills and subject

knowledge

11. PROGRAM DELIVERY

The methodology of instruction in this VGERS is different from that of the conventional

educational institutions. The VGERS system is more learner-oriented and the learner is an

active participant in the pedagogical (teaching and learning) process. Most of the instructions

are imparted through self-learning education methodology as per the requirement.

The VGERS follows a multimedia approach for instruction, which comprises:

Counseling Sessions: Normally counseling sessions are held as per schedule drawn by the

Study Centre/Franchisee Centre. These are mostly held outside the regular working hours of

the host institutions where the Study Centre is located. However, in case the number of

students in a programme is small, face-to-face counselling shall not be organized. In

such case the VGERS shall provide web enabled academic support to the learners.

Teleconferences: Live sessions are conducted via online through interactive web caste at

VGERS website and via Facebook live sessions.

Practical/project work: Some programmes have practical/project component also depending

upon the learning requirements .Practical sessions are held at designated institutions for

which schedule is provided by the Study Centre/Franchisee Centre. Attendance at practical

sessions is compulsory. For project work, comprehensive project guide, in the form of a

booklet, is provided to the learner along with the study material.

Faculty/ Trainers- each Centre will be having trained faculty and regular monthly centralized

training will be carried out by the core experts available with us. Minimum Qualification for

faculty is any degree or equivalent expertise in the field with minimum 2 years’ experience in

teaching. VGERS will conduct Faculty Skill Test every quarter and each faculty is supposed

to acquire minimum pass percentage in the same.

12. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

12.1 Online Admission System:

The admission forms can be submitted online (except for international students) through

online admission system at Student Registration. Currently, the facility is available for the

programmes offered through Courses Menu. The prospective learners are required to create

their user id and password (Send to your Registered E-mail ID) for logging in the system and

upload the required documents along with the submission of the admission form. There is no

need to send the printed copy of the admission form to the regional office. The programme

fee can be paid online using payment gateway through net banking, debit/credit card or UPI.

Once the admission form is submitted online, the students can track the progress of their

admission. A message is sent on the mobile number and email ID registered with the system

once admission is confirmed. In case of any discrepancy in the admission form, the

prospective students are advised to remove the discrepancy within a stipulated time .Failing

to do so will lead to rejection of admission form.

The prospective learners submitting the admission form through this system can download

the prospectus free from VGERS website VGERS website .However, an amount of Rs.200/-

is charged as registration fee along with the programme fee.

12.2 Admission Criteria

Students can take admission at any time to the affiliated Study Centre/Franchisee Centre of

VGERS.

Each student shall register for the courses in the prescribed registration from with the Course

coordinator at the respective Centre before the commencement of the course.

13. SYLLABI

In the model VGERS maintains a strong liaison with the industry through its associates and

partners and updates its syllabi as per the industry standards. VGERS has academic/ Subject

experts in its panel and in respective board of studies. It also invites periodic inputs from

industry advisory committee to inculcate industry endorsed practices. Thus we can proudly

say that our syllabi are latest, industry and job oriented.

13.1 VGERS Edge

High end Curriculum- The holistic curriculum is designed to international standards with

inputs from expert academicians and professionals across the world.

Affordable fees – The course fees is very much less compared to the others. This allows

creative (Talented) minds to take up this course from the financially backward class. (Around

80% students from the fine arts college students are from economically poor background).

14. CLASS HOURS

The strength of the programme lies in the 2 hours every day contact classes at the affiliated

franchisee Centre/VGERS learning Centre. This includes theory as well as Practical sessions.

Other than these students are free to use labs, Libraries, Internet, etc. The academies are

equipped with relevant labs, library, faculty room and other required facilities to conduct

these theory and practical sessions.

15. EXAMINATION PROCEDURE

The students enrolled for Offline Courses are listed: Vocational, Post Graduate Diploma,

Under Graduate Diploma, Career, Certificates and Vacation Courses. Online Courses are

listed: Vocational and Certificates Courses Program will have to undergo Examination after

the Completion of each course. For Certificate courses they have to appear for a single final

examination after completing the course.

15.1 Offline Courses

affiliated Centre of VGERS.

15.4 Term- End Examination and Payment of Examination Fee

The VGERS conducts Term-End Examination (TEE) between 3 Months in a year in

the months of March, June, September & December. A learner is permitted to appear

in TEE subject to the following conditions:-

Registration for the courses is valid and not time barred.

Required number of assignments in the courses have been submitted by due date

wherever applicable.

Minimum time to pursue these courses as per the provision of the programme has

been completed

Examination fee for all the courses the learner is appearing in the examination has

been paid.

In the case of non-compliance of any of the above conditions, the result of all such

courses is liable to be withheld by the VGERS.

15.5 Term-End Examination

The learners are required to fill in the examination form to appear in the TEE each time i.e.

for every exam (March, June, September & December) a learner has to apply afresh. The

examination forms are accepted online only as per the schedule given below.

15.7 Examination Fee and Mode of Payment

Examination fee once paid is neither refundable nor adjustable even if the learner fails to

appear in the examination.

15.8 Hall Ticket for Term End Examination

No hall ticket shall be dispatched to the examinees .Hall tickets of all examinees are uploaded

on the VGERS website VGERS website 7-10 days before the commencement of the Term

End Examinations. Therefore, learners are advised to visit VGERS website for updates.

Students are advised to take the print out of the Hall Ticket from VGERS website after

entering the enrolment number and name of programme of study, and report at the

examination Centre along with the Identity Card issued by the university. Without a valid

VGERS student ID card issued by the VGERS Society, examinees will not be permitted to

appear in the examination.

In case, any learner has misplaced the Identity Card issued by the university, it is mandatory

to apply for a duplicate Identity Card to the regional office concerned well before

commencement of the examinations so as to get a duplicate ID card in time. Learners without

valid ID card will not be allowed to enter the examination Centre premises. Students who

have taken admission online can download their ID card online.

16. EVALUATION SYSTEM

The system of evaluation followed by the VGERS also is different from that of conventional

Educational Institution. VGERS has a multitier system of evaluation.

Continuous evaluation mainly through assignments which are tutor-marked, practical

assignments and seminar/workshops/extended contact programmes, etc...

Term-End Examinations (TEE)

The evaluation of learners depends upon various instructional activities undertaken by them.

A learner has to write assignment responses compulsorily before taking Term-End

Examinations from time to time to complete an academic programme. A learner has to

submit Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) responses to the coordinator of the study Centre to

which she/he is attached. Term-end examination is conducted at various examinations Centre

spread all over the country in March, June, September and December every year.

16.1 The Examination Process includes the following:

Students should have a minimum of 70% of Class attendance for becoming eligible

for Examination. That should be certified by the Study Centre/Franchisee Centre.

Based on the same the Hall Tickets will be issued from VGERS Office.

Class Assignment done by the students should be evaluated by the Technical head of

the concerned Study Centre/Franchisee Centre

Theoretical Assessment is a centralized examination process done by the consultant

through online and offline mode.

Practical Assessment will be conducted in each Franchise Premises according to

instruction provided by the VGERS Office. VGERS officials will be invigilator at

each Centre during examination.

17.2.9 Study Centre/Franchisee Terms and Conditions

VGERS will allot franchisee across India.

IT & Vocational training institutions already offering courses may be considered, if

they are willing to set apart exclusive facilities for VGERS approved courses. Study

Centre/Franchisee who gets registration for a Centre will not be permitted to run any

other sub Centre.

Each Partner institutions shall provide the space and facilities as mentioned. All the

Centers will be encouraged to have a uniform look and ambience, creating a brand

image for VGERS institutions across India. The investment for setting up the Centre

should come from the franchisee.

The curriculum, syllabus and scheme of evaluation for the courses will be announced

separately.

The students will be admitted by the Study Centre/Franchisee Centre directly as per

the eligibility criteria fixed by VGERS. The admitted students will be issued a

registration number from VGERS.

The revenue in terms of fees collected from the students will be shared in the

proportion of Offline Courses is 75:25 & Online Courses is 40:60. Local

advertisements shall be done by franchisee on their own as per the guidelines fixed by

VGERS.

The registration fees collected from the students should pay through Online Payment

System to the VGERS account in the stipulated time frame mentioned, and then only

VGERS will issue the hall tickets and permanent registration number.

All Centres will be given fixed targets both in business as well in quality.

The contract of the Centre who are not meeting the desired level in both cases will not

be renewed and VGERS can terminate the agreement at any point of time if the Centre

is violating any terms and conditions fixed by VGERS.

VGERS will set the question paper and make arrangements for the delivery of the

question papers in sealed packets on the date of examination. There shall be a uniform

pattern in the matter of conducting exams, regarding the course and date of

examination throughout the Centre, as prescribed by VGERS.

If the Study Centre/Franchisee Centre will share a cost for the regional level branding

advertisements which will be planned in confirmation will all Centre.

Faculty induction programme will be (for) one month and there after regular trainings

will be conducted in each quarter at any place.

Faculty certification programme will be carried out and each Centre should have

required number of certified faculty.

Study Centre/Franchisees are required to procure the required number of library

books, Software’s and CDs before the commencement of the courses.

The franchise agreement is a legal, binding contract between the franchisor (VGERS)

and franchisee.

The franchise agreement contains the period of the agreement and the right to renew

or extend the contract. Renewal will be based on the performance and 75% of the

Once the society issues the franchise certificate, the franchisee must adhere to all rules

and regulations of the agreement.

The franchisee is not allowed to use the society’s name, log or IPR for other activities

without approval from the society.

required to pay towards those costs.

The franchisee must provide good service for all its users i.e. students, faculty and

centers.

Prior to conducting any society related activity, the franchisee must inform society

about the activity through proper channels and take approval for it.

About RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL Type 4) is a platform to provide recognition to the
