They got a plaorm to socialize and showcase their talents. Students were sensized about the CWSN. Learning with Fun Under the I.S.A project, “Couture Curry” a recapitulaon session about the tradional dresses of India, Kenya, Scotland and Japan was conducted on 30 th November, 2018 for the parcipants. Colouring acvies, puzzles, quizzes etc. were organized to reprise the objecves of the project. Food Fesval was celebrated on 2 nd February,2019. It is an annual event where the parent community puts up food stalls for the students . This year the food fesval was taken a notch higher , that is from the naonal level to the internaonal level as there were delicacies not only from the various states of our country but also from other countries like China ,Italy and UK.

Learning with Fun
Under the I.S.A project, “Couture Curry” a

Blessing Ceremony
Farewell
A Blessing Ceremony was held for the
outgoing students of class XII on 29th
January 2019. It was a solemn
occasion marked by a Candle Lighting
Ceremony. The ceremony signified the
passing of knowledge from the
mentors to the outgoing students. The
trustee, Mr. Manvinder Singh, and the
Principal Vincent Ashish Moses
addressed the students by
encouraging them to be rational and
courageous while taking decisions, taking onus for their work and learning from their mistakes. The
occasion was also marked by speeches from teachers and parents who shared their experiences of
nurturing this batch and seeing them grow into fine young adults. The ceremony was filled with
moments of reminiscence for the students who were both nervous and excited about their future,
but glad to have their teachers and parent standing beside them.
Principal, staff and class XI students of the The
Srijan School accorded a warm farewell to class
XII students on 22nd January 2019. The outgoing
students recounted their school experiences in
emotional and nostalgic overtones. Class XI
students presented wonderful dances that
enthralled the audience. In his farewell speech
to the outgoing batch, Principal Vincent Ashish
Moses expressed his sense of pride in bidding
adieu to a batch of young men and women, well
groomed and well educated to take up the
challenges of the future awaiting them. The
event culminated with group photographs and
scrumptious lunch.
Republic Day
The 70th Republic day was celebrated with
great fervour and patriotism at The Srijan
School. The event began with the flag
hoisting by Sharda Didi, the senior most
member of the helping staff community of
the school. It was followed by a group
rendition of the National Anthem. The choir
group left the audience mesmerized with
the patriotic song “Saare Jahan Se Achha”.
The students of class IX E apprised
everyone about the formation of the
Constitution and the relevance of the day
along with some of the inspiring speeches.
Ms Divya Khattar addressed the assembly. She encouraged the students and brought forward the
working of the Constituent Assembly, particularly the way it debated and discussed issues central
to the country’s future.
EXPLORING MUGHAL HISTORY IN
AGRA
A trip to the city of Agra was organized on 22nd and
23rd October, 2018 for the Humanities students of
Class XI and XII. The trip aimed at helping the students
understand the history of Agra through a study of its
monuments. The students participated in three
heritage walks through the Agra Fort, Fatehpur
Sikri and Taj Mahal. These walks gave them an insight
into the Mughal history in general and architecture in
particular. The interactive sessions held before and
after these walks, were equally engaging and enriching
for the students.

Students of classes II- IV participated in an art activity
‘Taare Zameen Par’ held on 2nd February, 2019. The
competition offered a great platform for students to
showcase their ingenuity. They exhibited their ideas
creatively and freely on paper, letting their imagination
Sports Activities – Class IV
To promote and nurture sportsman spirit amongst the students, The Srijan School organised an Inter- Class Sports Competition for Class IV on 29th and 30th January, 2019 in the school. Students participated in outdoor games and sports like throwball , football etc.

Cooking With Fire
An interesting activity, ‘Cooking without fire’ was conducted on
26th December, 2018 for the students of class I wherein they
prepared delicious and healthy salads and had a fun filled
experience.
Co - Curricular Activities
Paper Fruit Craft
On 30th January, 2019 the students of class I made colourful 3D fruits.
They traced, cut and pasted the fruits using colourful sheets.
The students made fruits like apple, pear etc. and displayed them in the
class.
Spray Painting Activity
Spray painting activity was conducted for the students of Class I on
23rd January, 2019. It gave the students an opportunity to practise spray
painting and make Indian flags.
Fancy Dress
On 7th January , 2019 students of Class II dressed up in colourful
costumes and shared information about their favourite food.
Warli Art
Students of Class III practiced Warli Art on 13th February , 2019. The
students drew different geometrical figures using lines, dots,
triangles and circles and enjoyed making funny stick figures.
Master Chef
Students of Class IV enthusiastically participated in kitchenette activity ‘Master Chef’ on 30th January , 2019.They were divided in five teams and prepared dishes from different countries like India, China, UK and Italy. The winning teams were felicitated with certificates.
Farewell
Students of Class IV gave a farewell to students of Class V on 20th March, 2019. A beautiful song was sung by the choir. It was followed by a Hindi play through which students of class V revisited the endless memories they had during their time in the junior school.
