Villa Olmo is a magnificent neoclassical building dating back to the 18th century and owned by the Town of Como.

It was designed in 1780 by the Swiss architect Si-mone Cantoni (1736-1818) as a beautiful summer mansion for the Odescalchi Family.

Later the Villa was purchased by Marquis Raimondi and by the Dukes of Modrone, who renovated and improved the building giving it its current layout.
