The Trans-European Network (TEN) is guided by the:
• TEN Regulation: Regulation (EC) No 680/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2007 laying down general rules for the granting of Community financial aid in the field of the trans-European transport and energy networks
• TEN-T Guidelines: Decision 1692/96/EC on Community guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network (as last amended by Decision 884/2004/EC)

Maximum Volume of Aid I

• EIB funding is compatible with funding under the TEN-T programme
• Commission to ensure non-cumulation of other EU funds with TEN-T funds
