T&P cell motivates the students to do their best during the Internship Training and this helps the students to get fully involved in the training for which many of them get appreciation letters, scholarships and jobs also. During the 6 Months internship, there is continuous monitoring of the students. They have also to take up a live and real time project compulsorily, which enhances their professional and practical approach.
SSIET has introduced a novel scheme to invite such companies who shall critically assess and
select the final year students from the campus for the 6 Months Industrial Training as per their
norms and thereafter retain them for the suitable jobs. This will have distinct advantage to both,
that the students will put in their best during the training and project work and the company that
they will not have to train them again once they have joined as their regular employee. The
students during their 6 Months Training would have also picked up the company work culture
and ETHOS. Example of such companies are Majestic Auto, Telcoma Technologies , Genpact,
Next Gen Venturi and Blue Beacon etc.
SSIET make continuous efforts to invite companies who shall impart 6 weeks as well as 6
months industrial training to its students. Examples of such companies are Cheema Boilers
Ropar, Allengers Medical Systems Derabassi, Gates India, Lalru etc Students also got the job
opportunity in the above companies after the successful training.
SSIET has a novel way to monitor the progress of its students during training. Students are
required to maintain a daily diary in which they mark the attendance signed by company as well
as marks given by company.
