Hunter Classes
Class
1. Novice Working Hunter Horse (Not to exceed 2’6)
** - The 1st & 2nd placed competitors go to Supreme Championship
† - Riders mat not compete in both lead rein class 26 and first ridden class 27
ǂ - Riders may not enter both Hunter and Riding Horse Classes.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Please read carefully in advance of the competition and keep for reference.
The judges’ decision is final
No horse to have competed in a HOYS or RIHS Qualifier in the last 24 months
Horses/Ponies must be 4 yrs and over unless otherwise stated next to class.
All animals must be sound
All dogs must be kept on a leads and please clean up after your dog.
Beaglers, Top hats and bowlers are no longer acceptable.
All persons when riding must wear a properly fitted hat with 3 point straps which conforms to British Standards and must be properly dressed in correct clothing.
Although every effort has been made to run classes to schedule Glasgow Group RDA will not be held responsible for classes clashing
Where sufficient entries are forward classes maybe split.
Any animal found to be suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be asked to leave the centre immediately.
Objections to be lodged in writing within 30mins of the event concerned to the secretary with the sum of £10, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld by the Board of Directors.
The centre reserves the right to refuse entry. Entries must include the correct fees.
Any competitor, rider, groom or handler who acts in an abusive or aggressive manner towards any animal, spectator, official, volunteer or member of staff will forfeit all entries and/ or prizes and will be asked to leave the centre.
Two or more competitors may not compete on the same Horse/Pony in the same class
Glasgow Group Riding for The Disabled, or anyone acting on their behalf, will not be held responsible for any damage or injury to vehicles or horses however caused
Entries will only be given at the Boards discretion.
