2015 Color of the Year, Marsala.
Recognized as the global authority on color, Pantone Color Institute has
shaped the standard for color trends since 1963. Deeming the Color of the
Year since 2010, Pantones selection process spans across all industries
(from entertainment and fashion to politics and technology) to determine
the influential factors which best define the global zeitgeist. And with this
years controversial announcement will come, as always, a cascade of
impressions on home dcor, design, and fashion sure to last several years.

blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of

Color Institute, in a recent release.
We have to admit, Rose Quartz and Serenity work well alongside each
other, like a sweet cloud of swirled cotton candy or an enchanted Southern
California sunset. An exceptional combination for rugs and upholstery, the
duo lends itself to paint selections and decorative accessories including
pillows, throws, and tableware. Styling with translucent, glazing, matte,
and metallic finishes will yield the optimal effect while delivering a delicate
balance from across the color wheel.
Beyond providing an eloquent pairing for design projects, combining these
pastel shades challenges the traditional perceptions of color association,
further celebrating societys move towards gender equality and fluidity and
the consumers increased comfort with using color as a form of expression.
Predicting color is no easy feat. Sometimes it takes years for a color to catch
on and even the hottest trends may become immaterial a few years down

States, Rancho Santa Fe, in San Diego County, combines rich history with
contemporary comforts to make this a residential area of exceptional

Designed by master architects Requa Jackson and Lilian J. Rice, the
