DAY 1: SAIGON – GROUP MEETING (D) Welcome to Saigon, the most bustling city of Vietnam!
Join the group meeting with our tour leader and other tourists. Enjoy welcome dinner at a specially
selected restaurant with Vietnamese traditional food. Our tour leader will tell you about itinerary
briefings and tour notes. Only dinner & group meeting are provided.
Morning private transfer from your hotel to the bus station, you will join the local VIP bus (GiantIbis
bus, Mekong Express, Sapaco bus, or Mai Linh Express) to Phnom Penh. Enjoy 5-hour driving plus 1
hour stop for immigration procedures in Moc Bai border gate (in Cambodia: Bavet border gate). Upon
arrival, you’ll be picked up by our local tour guide and bus from Phnom Penh bus station to your hotel.
Free leisure at your own discovery in Phnom Penh at night.

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR (B) Morning you visit Royal Palace built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the
Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. Then continue to the National Museum,
this is one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems.
Afternoon you visit to visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S 21), followed the Killing Fields of
Choeung Ek (15Km from the city. We will visit as well Russian market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively
outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and
wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. Return to the hotel.

DAY 4: PHNOM PENH – LOCAL VIP BUS TO SIEM REAP – APSARA DINNER (B,D) Morning transfer to the bus station to take the local VIP bus to Siem Reap. It’s another 5-hour journey
through the kingdom’s countryside with 1 rest stop halfway.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you check in the hotel. Free relaxation in the afternoon.

DAY 5: ANGKOR TEMPLES (B, L) Early morning, view sunrise at Ta Prohm “the Royal Monastery” then transfer back to hotel for
breakfast. The same morning, visit Angkor Wat, South gate of Angkor Thom with Bayon, Baphoun,
Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of Leper King, Ta Promh and Srah Srang.
After lunch, visit Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo. Have a sunset overview of the Magical Temple City of
Angkor Wat from Phnom Bakheng. Transfer back to inner city to explore the night life.

DAY 6: BANTEAY SREI – TONLE SAP LAKE (B, L) Spend the entire morning in one of the remote jewels of Angkor, the Banteay Srei temple which means
“Citadel of Women”, made of pink sandstone and presenting the most graceful carvings in stone we
might ever see in our life. Banteay Samre is a bit off the Grand Circuit, near the southeast corner of
the East Baray. There is a nice 3km road excursion through villages and paddies. Combine a visit to
Banteay Srey with a stop at Banteay Samre on the way back Siem Reap for lunch. Afternoon boating
in Tonle Sap lake, the 11th World’s largest lake and some fishing villages inside.

DAY 2: HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B,L)
Learn about the life and the legend of Ho Chi Minh by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (Closed on
Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct & Nov) and Ho Chi Minh Residence House, One pillar Pagoda,
Thang Long Royal Citadel the UNESCO World Heritage with the large excavation site nearby, Vietnam
Museum of Ethnology. 1 hour driven by private electric cars among 28 old streets of Hanoi Old quarter.
Stop to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple marking the city center. Take the train with
overnight in superior wooden compartment.

DAY 3: LAO CAI – SAPA (B, L) Early morning picks up from Lao Cai train station to Sapa town. Enjoy breakfast in the hotel. Leave

easy walk among traditional stilt-houses, Si suspension bridge, Tien Sa waterfall and trekking inside
bamboo forest. When in Cat Cat village after a beautiful walk down the valley and enjoy the stunning
views of terraced rice fields. Drive back Sapa town for lunch and check-in your hotel. Free afternoon at
your leisure.

DAY 4: SAPA – NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B, L, D) Morning pay a visit to Muong Hoa valley with a short trek from Lao Chai village to Ta Van village. You
trek among the stunning terraced rice fields, intermingle with Hmong and Dzay hill tribes and get
insights into the locals’ life. Break for delicious lunch in the local house offering stunning view of Muong
Hoa valley. Hear the sound of wind, breath the flavour of ripe rice and taste the local food. Afternoon
you find out legendary assumption of Ancient Rock Ground before transferring back Sapa town to visit
Rock Church and Sapa town market. Dinner and take the night train back Hanoi.

DAY 5: HANOI – HA LONG - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B, L, D) Upon early arrival, you’re transferred to Hanoi hotel for room-day-use in 4 hours. Rooms with hot-

breakfast, you’re transferred to Halong Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage. At noon, embark your cruise
then start your sightseeings among thousands of limestone rock formation. Enjoy sea kayaking in
hidden corners of the bay, swimming in Soi Sim beach and sunbathing on cruise sundeck. Join cooking
class on board to make “Nem” Vietnamese spring-rolls and mix “Nuoc mam” fish-sauce. Dinner and
overnight on cruise.

DAY 6: HA LONG - HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN (B, L) Wake up with Tai Chi exercises on the sundeck and continue cruising the Bay. Enjoy breakfast buffet in
the restaurant, then visit the limestone grotto. Enjoy lunch on board and disembark in Halong City
around 12.00 noon and private transfer to Hanoi airport. Check out and take the short flight to Da
Nang city. Upon arrival in Da Nang, enjoy a private transfer with your local guide to Hoian Old quarter.

DAY 7: HOI AN (B, L) Morning walking tour of Hoi An, discover the history of a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to
18th centuries. Visit Hoi An's colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukian Assembly Hall, and the
400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Cycling to Tra Que herb village to join farming activities with
locals and know more about the countryside of Hoi An.

DAY 8: HOI AN – FLIGHT TO SAIGON (B, L) Morning, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight from Da Nang to Saigon. Meet our tour guide
in Saigon and lunch is served upon arrival. Afternoon, take city tour to visit War Remnants Museum,
which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of
Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office,
the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for
shopping.

DAY 9: SAIGON – CAI BE – MEKONG DELTA (B, L) Enjoy a full day tour traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta.
Known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main
producer of rice and tropical fruits. From My Tho, take a boat and travel to one of the islands located in
the middle of the Mekong River. On the island visit a fruit orchard and sample some of the local
produce, before boarding a smaller sampan that winds along narrow canals. You also have the
opportunity to visit a local family’s house and enjoy their hospitality and share with them some tea or
rice wine. Return to Saigon.

DAY 2: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS (B, L) Morning transfer to visit Cu Chi tunnels, an important base during the American War because of its
strategic location. The Vietnam soldiers built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command
posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. Dug out of hard late-rite by hand tools without the use
of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. Afternoon, take city tour to visit War

DAY 5: HOI AN (B) Free morning at your leisure. Afternoon cycling to Tra Que herb village to join farming activities with

Vietnamese tea with farmers. Cycling back the town.

DAY 6: HOI AN – DA NANG - HUE (B, L) Morning, transfer to Hue in your private vehicle. The overland journey will take you through one of the
most beautiful scenery of Vietnam when you traverse the Hai Van (Cloudy Pass). There will be plenty
of photo opportunities en route. Arriving at Hue, you will start the day visiting the Forbidden City and
the Imperial Citadel, the magnificent tomb of Vietnam’s last monarch Khai Dinh and the tomb of the
poet-king Tu Duc. Enjoy this romantic boating along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one
of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue.
