Product Configuration Changes

Certain combinations of older versions of AdobeFlash, Mozilla Firefox on 64-bit Windows systemhave shown intermittent instability when selectingdashboards. Upgrading to the latest versions ofAdobe Flash will resolve the issue.

Description:

On a 64-bit Windows system, using MozillaFirefox14, along with an older version of AdobeFlash 11.3.300.265 (or older), select any dashboard.

Within the 95/5 Bandwidth report, note the followingissues:

• The exported file will generate a zero(0) bytefile

• If 5 minute interval display is selected in thedashboard, the time span will display 1 dayinstead of 5 minutes due to the density of thedata

On systems with multiple search heads configured,when stopping a search head, and then switching toa different dashboard, this could generate an“Insecure Login” error.

3 Open a dashboard, such as network

4 Stop the active search head

5 Toggle back to dashboard landing page andlaunch a different dashboard, such as Qos

If the option for “Compress Files before export” isselected on Cisco CDS-IS, this could trigger duplicatelogs – both uncompressed and compressed.

Description:

1 OnCDSM, enable option "Compress Files beforeExport" (by default unchecked)

2 Export CDS log via UF embedded on SR/SE

3 Generate a file such as

service_router_10.10.15.172_20120802_120001_00039

4 After the file is compressed

service_router_10.10.15.172_20120802_120001_00039.gz

[result]

Duplicate logs indexed from both uncompressedand compressed file

2 Generate real time CDS logs via distributingvideo streaming
