My grandmother Grigorevskaya Anna Nikolaevna was born in 1931. When the war began she was only 10 years old. She lived in Sankovo then. When fighting was on the territory of her village she helped injured solders. She also worked in hospitals. During the war in summer and in autumn she worked in the fields to grow wheat for our Soviet Army. For her works she was awarded different medals. She died in 2013.
