As you can see Vibe choose the most suitable image for their cover lines…’Keri Hilson has been a bag girl’…’Trey Songz hardest in R&B’, these cover lines connote to sexually appealing preferences therefore resulting in Vibe choosing appealing images both of Keri Hilson’s beautiful curves and Trey Songz bold body

The eyebrows in Vibe magazine help introduce stories the reader may find fascinating, this adds to the trade of Vibe Magazine whereby things are simple and clear, but simultaneously are very detailed and complex in a tranquil way for all to read and appreciate

This content page in vibe shows visual colours of grey and black with the rap artist Kanye West, the theme is quite dull and miserable, but still maintains vibes simple layout. Continuing on from the dullness, I can see this through Kanye wests facial expression which is very despondent, its almost like he has no life in himself. However the red heart which is placed on his chest shows there still is life in him but those two contrasts may indicate how he is feeling or how he wants the audience to know how he’s emotion are

Vibe magazine is a music magazine which advertises news information on many famous music artists on their front cover, they specialize in the music genres of rap, hip-hop and R&B

Featured segments included the back page list 20 Questions, the Boomshots column about reggae and Caribbean music by Rob Kenner, Revolutions music reviews and Vibe Confidential, a celebrity gossip column. Next profiled up-and-coming artists. The magazine also devoted several pages to photo spreads displaying high-end designer clothing as well as sportswear by urban labels such as Rocawear and Fubu

Vibe also publishes books on hip-hop culture. To celebrate the magazine's tenth anniversary, here we have a bare-chested 50 Cent on the cover, this particular vibe magazine volume includes photos of Alicia Keys, RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan, Eve, Chuck D of Public Enemy and Run-D.M.C. VIBE MAGAZINE

Vibe magazine launched the "Best Rapper Alive Tournament" on July 21, 2008. There were four brackets, and four number 1 seeds: Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Andre 3000. The actual final four included Ludacris, The Game, Eminem and Jay-Z. The last two rappers standing were Eminem and Jay-Z, with Eminem eventually garnering 69% of the votes for the victory. When Eminem heard the news, he stated: "It’s obviously an honour to have won the fans' support by being voted the Best Rapper Alive. I don't think that there is any one rapper that is simply the best though. Everyone who was in consideration and many others are the best at certain things, and at what they do.

What I think makes vibe magazine so unique is that once again it is so simple but at the same time its complex too.
